Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

Hey folks, I just went through and merged a handful of peoples posts where the posted a couple times in a row. No biggie, but remember to edit instead of posting twice :).

BTW, the camera is exciting news. Hopefully that can get patched in with the Triumph's CM9 kernel/ROM without too much effort.
 
I'm going to decompile the boot.img and look through the differences. Although I'm expecting a lot because of the differences (.32 and .35)
If I see anything that relates to camera I'll try to apply it.

Has anybody tried just the libs?

EDIT: Well, I've seen how he's broken wifi. If somebody gets ahold of him tell him that this line in init.fb0.rc:
mkdir /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant 0770 wifi wifi
Needs to be changed to this:
mkdir /data/system/wpa_supplicant 0770 wifi wifi

if you have wifi on at your house...then you can download a free app called airdroid, it allows you to access your phone over your wifi connection, and you can upload files directly to your sd card

i just let pulled the battery out of my phone and held the buttons down for recovery before i reinserted the battery, and you might have to try a few times

make sure it isnt plugged in to anything though
 
Okay, well my tries aren't very successful. So I uploaded the test zip on mediafire. Anybody who really doesn't care if their phone is bricked or quite frankly is a daredevil, PM me. Especially you bryce, as you seem to know how to get around it.

as much fun as that sounds...i have had my excitement with this phone and already thought i bricked it.....so i'll pass and let someone else experiment for now :D
 
Did any of you try the custom recovery tj_style made for andro-id and the sharp rom, with the camera fix? Cause that is what I had to do to get them to work on the triumph, tj said he had to mod the recovery to work with those roms. If this is the same kernel then that might help. I'm bout to try now.
