Root [ROM] Angry Bean / CM 10.1 [build 08.08.13]

I've also noticed issues with not being able to receive text messages and it usually occurs after having WiMax on for a given amount of time. My fix for this was reverting to the stock rom, and then switching back, it has fixed the problem both times it happened to me.
 
Hello great job with this ROM. I just wanted to tell you that I could not make a phone call thru wifi, the sound is terrible I am using the company connection. Had to turn off wifi to make calls do not know if anyone has the same issue. By the way tried the gps without the fix and it is working perfectly.
 
In the new update my phone seems to overheat extremely hot. It gets so hot I have to take it out of my pocket any ideas I'm under clocked and haven't messed with a new kernel.
 
I did that the first time but i just restored my data from my previous build maybe that is why? well ill try again and let ya know if it works for me.
 
Restoring data is always a mixed bag for me. I usually don't. I don't really have the need. I just back up all my apk files and restore those . But if your a gamer I could understand the need. I'm a flashaholic. I rarely stay with a ROM more than a week. LOL
 
Mine suck .27mbps. But its not ROM related. Virgins speeds just suck lately. I have a friend on sprint. Same phone. It's supposedly the same network. But he gets almost double the speeds as me. That's not right. I understand its prepaid. We don't get priority over Sprint phones . But to cut our speeds in half. It's just not fair in my eyes. . I'm making the jump to Sprint and going for the S4. It's a beast
 
i have the rom installed, followed the instructions for the voicemail. i've tried flashing the vvm zip repeatedly with no luck. am i setting up the voicemail wrong at first or what? i tend to follow through with all those pop ups, start the free trail then reboot, reflash the zip then try leaving myself a voicemail but it still doesnt work. any ideas?
 
This is now my favorite ROM for this phone. It works beautifully, and it's the smoothest ROM I have tried. Great job!

I just have a few questions. Is it possible to get 3d to work in YouTube and is it possible to have the 4g icon to show up in the status bar when I turn 4g on?

Scratch what I said before, I am still getting major overheating problems even at a clean install with nothing running or installed any ideas? I didn't have this issue on the last update and I don't want to go back because this fixes some annoying bugs any help is appreciated .
 
can not get wifi tether to work. have tried wifi tether app and the native app. computer will connect but can't pull up any sites

nvm got it to work
 
Gotta say except for the amount of battery the Rom is eating i'm enjoying it. Ofcourse you know i had to modify it for my personal use before flashing it ;). My Tweaks and Acid Audio definitely makes this a class S Rom :thumbup:

Actually yeah, if you wouldnt mind sharing your copy. might fix one or more of the following


Couple pestering issues im having, which are very specific and odds are not something anyone will be able to pin point.

1. Splashtop force closes immediately.

2. I get weird flicker and green artifacts occasionally on youtube and various flash videos.

3. There seems to be an odd issue with the headset detection. In apps such as ventriloid, if you connect just plain headphones, you can play music and such and itll come through the headphones fine, but ventriloid will not recognize the headphones.
 
Absolutely love the ROM, been following g60madman's work since CM7 on the Triumph and can't get enough! This version does seem to drain the battery a bit quicker than the previous version, but for as good looking and functional as this ROM is it's a small price to pay! Keep up the great work!
 
I seem to be having battery and overheating issues also the thing that gets me the most is the overheating sometimes it gets to hot to hold. I have done multiple re installs with no luck

This ROM is totally Chairshot's work. He fixed the kernel and a lot of issues related to the kernel. I have been running this since the 3rd and it's been flawless. Also making it through the night with out a charge!!

NOTE: Also with future releases we will be running the ROM's a few days before releasing it due to the overheating issues and other bugs the last ROM had.
