I was reading that . . .I re-installed and now I have 857mb free after my apps have been installed. soo we will see.. I will only use Wimax for a day or soo and see what happens

I didn't have a stock kernel laying around, but I pulled a file called boot_signed.img from the RUU.
[HIGH]fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase cache[/HIGH]
After a reboot, no change.

I went to do my monthly refill for VM, and I noticed the My Account app (or whatever it is called) is missing. Was it ever part of this rom? So I'm not able to access my Virgin menu to add money to the phone. I've looked on SD Maid to see if it's hidden somewhere, but yeah it just doesn't see to be on the phone. I can't really find an third party app either that could replace it.
I also had a problem today where my Maps app just completely disappeared from my phone with no trace. And I went thru a series of crashes before I was able to get it reinstalled again. I've had app shortcuts disappear from my main screen recently as well. Hopefully these offer any insight to what might be going on.

Typically, "bloatware" are removed from custom ROMs. You should be able to go in VMs website on your phone and pay
I think I know the app he's talking about. It's not bloat, it's really just a portal to the mobile website made by jmz and can be found on the Play Store. Some custom ROMs include it, don't remember if Angry Bean does or not cuz I would've restored it from TB if not. I like it cuz it's convenient but you can access all the same content through the mobile site in your browser. Also check out Minutes Checker by Jay Goel if you haven't before... Included in some ROMs, the widget and toast notifications before calls really helps you track your minutes.

I remember seeing someone who had this problem before... I assume you have tried to flash them again? If so, I would consider wiping the system partition and then try reflashing them.
Where did you download the gapps zip from?
I got them from the Angry Bean install tutorial thread linked from the OP here.

I've never installed this before and noticed on the XDA page it said to not have any other EQ programs running. Do I have to use Titanium Backup to remove the DSP software first or can I just go ahead and flash Acid?

Just as a precaution, redownload them. The download could have been corrupted. Did you check the MD5 matched?

I removed DSP Manager and Apollo with Titanium and flashed it, and it's fine.
Yes I always check the MD5 since I have gotten a corrupted file before.
Will wiping system remove any apps or other data? Is there a way to backup the current stuff and then restore later?
Was there a fix for the MMS failing to receive problem from earlier?? My first flash of Angry Bean worked great for a couple weeks. Then I got the Wimax log clogging up my memory. I did a reflash and then my MMS hasn't been working for the past week. I've reflashed a half dozen times tonight, and trying different procedures but it hasn't started working and I know i have a lot of messages in limbo somewhere.
(I tried the apns restore solution thing from like page 5, but I kept getting the error saying I can't restore it on 4.0+ devices.)

When I flash a ROM, for any reason, I first back up apps and data to SD card with TB, and also export my contact list. Then in recovery I wipe everything except the SD card. That wipes out everything including apps and data on the phone. Then i flash the ROM and gapps, if applicable. Once rebooted, and set up play store, I restore what I need with TB. I do use Googles cloud backup/restore also, makes the process easier.

I have been doing full wipes with each re-flash if that wasn't clear.
I actually restored my Harmonia recovery and my MMS and voicemails started working again. I didn't realize I hadn't been receiving VM either with Angry Bean. I'm pretty sure I've been following the procedures with flashing and reflashing the VMM, I'd like to get back to Angry Bean if I could just figure out the MMS/VM problem.

I've noticed the Angry Bean VVM app doesn't delete the voicemail off the server. When I long press 1 it says I have TONS of voicemail.
So I wiped System and reflashed gapps and now my phone is stuck on the white HTC screen booting. I had to restore a nandroid of MidnightROM to get it to boot.

I have the same issue.
Download them from the play store.
I did a little more digging and all the gapps package contains is the Play store, phone setup, etc. You have to download maps/gmail. Lesson learned.
