Root [ROM][AOSP]LOTK's Deck's ReLoaded .500 Philo RLS

Thanks, I was wondering today whether or not we had an "official" thread for it over here. The new update should be pretty cool
 
Downloading. Will flash in the next couple of days. It's supposed to blow the preview version out of the water, which was pretty dang good.
 
hey mizz, Ive been on this one for about 12 hrs now, everything works great..it is seamless. I saw in his changelog, he fixed a few folders with the kernel..before he fixed it, I just went into atyoungs blog and took the .15 rc3 fso+sbc...its working nice, I am underclocked to 499 on brazilianwax and it feels like stock freq.

Man I'm trying to hold out. I LOVE the team dirt cm9 port
 
just a heads up, if you use an app that needs the com.google.android.loction.jar or .xml files, the app will force close, there was a fix described by taking those 2 files from the 8/28 gapps and installing them into the apporpriate location\

-dont blame ya, Mizz...i was on aokp build 34 for a while and LOVED it..once FFC is fixed, I will make ICS my Rom of choice
 
I'm having issues getting a GPS lock, even though the fix is supposed to be baked into the rom. I've tried flashing it in recovery as well as using an app recommended to me from the market.

If I can get that ironed out I'll be all set
 
It worked for me The gps that is. I just need the ffc to work. I saw a fix for that just dont have time to mess with it right now. Sweet Rom and fast as far as I could tell everything worked well after fixing permissions.
 
Hey guys, thanks for the support over here, I posted the full op here in all things root. There will also be an update coming in the next day or so, included will be some fixes for apps that I messed up the call for in the updater-script and also a fix for ffc to work with Tango and other similar apps.

Big thanks to big and mizzou for the added exposure!!! You guys ROCK!!!!

The changelog has not been posted yet, but I flashed it and it flashes without DTa2sd....I am going to flash that separately I guess....no worries.
 
.500 is like the original decks. minimalist.
They're going to release 'derringer' which will be the separate aroma add-on which contains all the 'bells and whistles' of .44.
Dunno when derringer will be released, probably depends on when Rope is finished with it

How fast is the latest?

Its faster than .44! Now .500 rc2 just dropped with a Decks themed smelkus recovery!! I'm going nuts here!!:D
