I'm on WiFi most of the time these days, but I'll turn it off and see what happens. Does it matter if you are in 3g only mode?I've tried jdkernel 2.6.35.14, Immoseyon 3.5.8 and slayer cm7 kernel all have given me the same battery drain. I will try the newest immoseyon and see what happens. Anyone else have an kernel's that i should try out that doesn't drain the battery on 3g and 4g?
I know. But from the post I can't tell if he's experiencing the same problem regardless of which data mode he is in. Sounds like either is giving him the same problem, but it's unclear.I would think it would. 3G only doesn't use the LTE radio so it is much nicer to the battery
Odd I'm thinking you must have some app syncing to much or something
Imo's 3.5.8 had the best battery life for me, but i hate that it doesn't include the in call audio fix. i am using currently using DroidTh3ory's modded version of 3.5.11 which includes the audio fix but is not as good on battery as 3.5.8. when DT gets 3.5.12 set up for th3ory roms, i will be switching to that.
2.0 tester build is up. I normally cannot tell much difference when it comes to "smoothness". This one I could. Best ever, and I am not even running using the ADW the compiled.

Are you running it Dig, how is it? I was planning on flashing the new CM if I had time this weekend. Don't think I'll have time for both so I guess I'm flipping a coin
2.0 tester build of what? Shift or the kernel?
Sorry, Mr. Does. I forgot how all over the place this thread is.

Haha, no worries. You really think it's that much improved over 1.2?
It seems like there may be subtle shift in culture towards the senseless ROMS (what I and I guess some others call the HTC framework ROMS with most of the sense features like Rosie removed). You get the benefits of HTC (NFL network, sense 3.0 lockscreen, fully functional location) with some of the leanness and best of class approach of AOSP. From what I have read, battery life on the latest sense roms is good if not better than AOSP. I am not an open source religion kind of guy, so I don't have a philosophical dog in the fight. I may try nonsense next.
. i love the look and feel of AOSP,but i do miss "my verizon" since i need to keep a close tab on minutes.
