Root [ROM]AOSP ShiftTh3ory

Good news is that DT posted today saying that he hasn't quit or retired. He will still build roms just not as frequently.
 
Ok, I'm now convinced DT is a drama queen. Makes a big muck about releasing 3 ROMs then he's leaving. Now, today, he's talking about how he has his been putting in many late nights making his own source tree and will be releasing a new build tonight :eek:

I don't get this dude, I really don't
 
Wonder if it will have the parts of CM settings that aren't available in OMG?

And yeah he seems kinda bipolar or something

Looks like a mod of Shiftaosp 1.1

I personally would wait for screen shots if I were going to flash it and didn't think it was deserving of it's own thead currently until we see some feedback.

Theory's roms are begining to get confusing in regards to who devs what and all.
 
So is the burnt ignition add-on dead now? I noticed the link isn't even in the shift thread anymore. My how fast things change course.

I think I read in his forums that he'd rather have everything over at his site instead of trying to post in 3 different places, so I don't think he'll be active at themikmik anymore.
 
Shift 2.1 is running really well.

Think I'll be sticking with this for a while. Only thing I noticed, and it could be using 8/28 GAPPS, but Gmail would FC. I used the 8/28 GAPPS with CM7 and it worked fine so don't know what the deal is, but it's no problem using the email app instead I spose.

I did flash the 'burn' theme, does that effect Gmail? this is the first Theory ROM I've ran so not familiar with everything yet.

Yeah it would affect gmail makes it blacked out maybe a lower version roots may have a Notre up to date one that will fit the theme
 
just flashed v.2.1 yesterday. Everything working great and extremely smooth except i'm not getting any 4G. ITs odd. I'm going to give it a day to see if it kicks on. If not, anything I can do?
 
Thanks. I found out what the issue was. It was my 4G switcher app. Apparently it does not work with AOSP and it kept 4G from turning on. I uninstalled it and its working fine. Still looking for a 4G/3G switcher that works but atleas i know 4G is good to go.

The ROM has one built in. It is in the notification power widget, and works better than the application ones, IMO.
