If you are going to throw the zen CM7 rom in there make sure you flash one of Deca's kernels in there. Flash rom, flash gapps, flash a Deca kernel;)

Is Zen's Working better than Aosp.

I tried to flash last night, not able to:( I forget what the error said in recovery but something to do with Hero. Maybe clockworkmod recovery stopped from installing because it is for a GSM Hero not CDMA:confused::confused:

Oh well, just as soon as I restored back, aosp put the alpha build:D:D:D

What is recovery clockwork? Is this something that we should flash for it to work properly? Also why 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 all within days of each other? I am really excited to flash 1.7 now...:):D

just tryed flashing 1.7 and just kept getting the "HTC quietly brilliant" screen popping up and going back to a blank screen. I let it go for almost a half hour and got nothing. did a full wipe and cache before. am i missing something?

I wiped, flashed, booted... I get to the Cyanogenmod 7 start up screen and it just loops. It did this with both the 1.6 and 1.7 version. I am lost on what I am missing.

What recovery are you using, hopefully clockworkmod ;-) You will have to wipe in the partitions menu. Boot, data, cache and system. Do not wipe sd, obviously! Then flash rom and gapps. Reboot

What recovery are you using? If clockworkmod, do what I said above!

im using clockworkmod. I did not wipe the partitions. that sounds like the issue. ill give it a shot.

When i do wipe the partitions, the partitions are still saved in my nandroid if i decide to go back to aosp froyo, correct?
