[ROM] aospCMod | AOSP 2.3.4 / CM7 (Gingerbread) [05/23/11]

The first number is the code for Youmail and is the correct number, should work, it works on mine, also do *38 and you will hear a double beep, then end your call and then try forwarding again with *28, and this is for Sprint, if you are with another carrier could be a different code. And also make sure you sign up and registered for Youmail

Alright I hot both on my phone youmail and google voice when either of them haver me call *289095106169 or *283049974664 it connects and says the feature code you entered is incorrect and I cannot find any help on the google voice help center amount else have or had the same problem and get it fixed?

Yes the one I have posted in this thread is the latest

link for Sprint Visual Voicemail fix

Figured it should go here for people who flashed it and are having problems

Any recommendations on kernels for GB? I'm not looking for different, but always willing for better. Stock appears to handle running at 768 without need for setcpu or ocwidget.

I had 190mb internal available after install. That's up from 130mb with 0.9.9.2, plus move to SD isn't greyed out on 80% of apps like in 2.2. :-)

Keyboard is better than stock has ever been, but I'm still going back to Swiftkey assuming it'll run on GB. It sucks to learn to type again.

Anyone else have issues with Titanium Backup not restoring apps and data with the upgrade? Most lost data when restored or just wouldn't run. Even restored nand and backed up again. No luck. Does the market present a different version of the app based on your ROM version?

hey guys I'm currently running aosp 2.3 2/09 release and for some reason i keep getting force close when i try and go into cyanogenmod settings, is anyone else having the same problem?

what I'm gonna try and do is install the new release 2/10 and see if that fixes the issue or would you all recommend something else?

I don't have that issue on the 2/10 build.

I thought this ROM had the Zeam launcher. The 2/10 build has ADW. I really like ADW, but it does restart alot more than on 2.2. Anyone else have same?

Go to launcher Pro, much better, no issues here

Launcher Pro is running much more stable than ADW. I had tried LP a long time ago and found it very good. At the time, ADW had some advantages so I went that route. They are both awesome! Each has some +/-. Kind of surprising since he is shipping with ADW.

Now I have to start goofing around with custom icons and themes for LP. I thought the smart phone was for productivity GAIN??? I'm definitely net negative!

Flashed the 2/10 build, swype still makes me choose it as the input method twice a day. Anyone have any ideas on that?

Happens to me too. On FroYo, as long as I had Swype installed on the phone and not SD, it would work fine. Not so much on GB.

The gps accuracy may be my show stopper. Lots of discussion over on xda, but unfortunately no real solution yet. Anyone found it here yet?

I noticed this on my friend's Sprint HTC Hero running the Android 2.3 ROM the other day. The accuracy was off for a while, then got better.

The real showstopper was that the GPS signal would just quit after a few minutes. This only seemed to happen when he was actively tethered to his car via Bluetooth for phone call functionality.

Gmaps has me 15ish miles from where I am. That's at the core of many useful apps!

I saw similar when I first updated to 2.1.

GPS works fine for me and is pretty accurate. I just used it the other day to get me somewhere I have never been. I read the complaints and was a little worried about using it, but it worked just fine for me.

Did you use Nav? Or just look up spot on map? Makes a difference on how long you stay locked. Also you may not notice a brief loss with out her telling you she's recalculating route.

I was just out and watching map while driving, it's on some of the time but bounces around more than in 2.2.
