I've got the stock Swype.apk file, if you'd like I can upload it for you.
That would be awesome, you confirmed it works?

If I'm on 2.3.15 and I wipe data and cache prior to installing, I lose all my widgets and anything else on my desktop?
I also have to reinstall all my apps after I install this rom, correct? Just use titanium backup pro, correct?
Doug
I'm using it now. I'll upload it and then post a link for you.
Ok awesome, do I just install it over the current swype with this ROM? How did you go about installing it?
HERE ya go...Put the file on your sdcard, long press on it and select "copy", then go into the system/app folder and hit "paste" (you may need to hit the r/w button on the top right) once it is pasted long press on the swype.apk file and select "permsissions". Change them to: User: read, write; Group: read; and Others: read. Then just restart your phone.

Install/Remove system apps: (warning, these are very powerful! Use with caution)
*Place desired file on /sdcard
-install
-uninstall
I assume you are doing that with Root Explorer, which I don't have![]()
is everyones overclock app working
In root explorer. In case you aren't sure k0smo86
You can also use fab's install scripts.....
Worked perfectly, thanks!
You can not flash this if you are on 2.3.15. You need to update first because I'm pretty sure this has the new kernel.
Yes, you will need to reinstall all your apps or use titanium to restore them (apps+data only, not system data)
Yeah "overclock not found" when I type it into Terminal
I don't think there is an overclock script with the new Apex, you need to use one of the apps.
Ohh gotcha, I don't like to mess with that stuff, only wanted to do it within Fab's scripts
There is a nice QuickClock app that will tell you what to use for your values with the overclock app. If it's something you want to try let me know and I'll explain how to use QuickClock.
hmm, does it lengthen battery life at all? I might be interested in testing it out.
Thanks again Fab! Great work here, dude.
One question - are the keys supposed to be smaller with the GB keyboard? I've never run anything other than default densities but the keys seems a lot smaller to me (see attached).
Here's the stock settings:
350 - 33
500 - 48
800 - 58
1000 - 62
I'm currently running:
380 - 18
600 - 29
900 - 42
1250 - 62
All of the voltages are quite a bit lower than stock except for the highest which is the same as stock.
and this app is "QuickClock" in the market?
