Root [ROM] Axura 2.2.5.5 (by Master -Devs4Android-)

Are you using clockword mod recovery to flash it? If not you need to put that on by using rom manager then boot into recovery to flash it.

I am ....it started then its now just sitting and im just shitting

Odd, I didnt have any issues when I did mine but in fact I had to repartition my internal storage before I did anything since it got jacked up, idk if that has anything to do with it though. In the videos I have seen its best to have the rom on the root directory of the internal storage but personally I have had it work with them in a folder. And btw you may want to avoid posting the same question in multiple threads, that won't get you on the mods good side.

ok mine looks the same with the exception of 2.2.5.7,i went to advanced and there is nothing with voodoo. the rom came with it i find it in files. but battery life is not good. speed is exceptional.

Mine lasted about 13hrs yesterday before i put it on the charger for the night, it was around 30% or so i think, I forget exactly. I just looked through my advanced task manager app for apps I dont really use much that kept running in the background and uninstalled them. Also you probably need to recondition your battery and to do that let it die from a full charge whilst on then charge it up to full being off and once that is done go into clockwork mod recovery and under advanced I think (I forget where atm) and chose wipe battery stats then reboot and your done.

Yea I just downloaded it whilst I was in the kitchen a few minutes ago fixing something to eat. Gonna flash it now myself.

EDIT: oooo I love the color of the market place now, looks so much cooler

but one thing that sucks on this ROM is the bootanimation. It is HORRIBLE.

I don't really like it either. I used absolute system tools to download one, its of the droid pissing on an apple similar to my avatar with the droid eyeball in the top right corner, its pretty sweet looking :D.

For us Vibrant users...someone should make one pissing on the HTC (any series). I have too many friends that think HTC is better and have gotten on my nerves about it, but after rooting to AXURA...no chance!!!:D

HTC does build some very nice devices. They just need to source their screens and processors from Samsung. And as a side note, I have been trying to get around to conditioning my battery, and I figured I would just use my phone until it died. Yeah. It's been 52 hours now, and I still have 12%. I just hope I can kill it before I go to sleep.

I finally came back to axura again after flashing a few more roms. i am staying at 2.2.5.7 since you guys gave me the link to wificalling. Seems like the vibrant is reaching it's max capabilities now because there is only so much i do with my phone. lol.

But forget all that because 2.2.5.9 is already out with even more tweaks and fixes. I'm glad I decided to sleep and let my phone charge before I flashed 2.2.5.8.

Since I updated from 2.2, I have gotten intermittent data connections to internet. Is anyone else having this?
My stats are:

Baseband version: T959UVJL5
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9
Build number: Axura 2.2.5.9

I had issues with that for awhile on 2.2.5.7, so I flashed the JL4 modem, and problem solved. I haven't done that on 2.2.5.9, because I haven't needed to, but you may want to try that.
