Root [ROM][BETA][4.1.2] AOKP Jelly Bean for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 12/30/2013

The 3g issues is a known problem...personally from reading a lot I'm sure it is a issue with the RIL and the Radio software/hardware of this device. I'm sure Phenom is looking into it.

@Starkraving Thanks for the update. I recently made a lot of changes to various settings and deleted some system apps so it may have caused the effect I was experiencing. I just rolled back to a previous Nandroid backup and so far I'm not having any problems losing Data connection. I'll keep an eye on it and also watch this thread for any updates.

@Phenomx4 I never had a problem with Data connection under the stock 2.3.7 Virgin ROM. As far as I can tell the problem with the data connection only started recently under the 4.1.2 ROM after I synced my phone with Google and delete several of the stock system apps. Up to that point the latest 4.1.2 build was running more smoothly than any previous build and continues to run smoothly even with the data connection problem. After restoring the Nandroid backup everything is fine for the moment under AOKP 4.1.2. I'll report on any problems if they recur.

Yeah data is better on stock for me i switched back to stock due to poor battery stats. And now im not rooted i cant use any of my apps that require roots. I attempted to reroot and poot got error 22 can someone please help me

So this patch was working fine and everything but for some reason it decided to stop reading my micro sd. Im not sure if its my micro sd as it was working just fine prior to the patch and I have formatted it 3 times already trying to get this to work but it just cant seem to load the micro sd when it has a lot of memory stored on it. It will load the sd fine if theres absolutely nothing on it, but if I put my music back in it will crash the phone and cause bootloops until I take out the battery and sd to restart it.
It also seems to only happen when mounting the storage on the sd because when I transfer the music from the sd card via the phone and the usb cable it doesnt restart and it loads everything on the card just fine. But once I restart the phone it will work for a couple of minutes and then reboot again.

Mine did that as well, I ended up reflashing the rom, which fixed it.

I've noticed the battery percentage is reported different in Recovery than it is when actually running the ROM. Averages about 10 percent less (sometimes 15%) when in Recovery mode.

Reset Battery stats, etc. Didn't see any difference.

Is this a known bug?

Has anyone tried Bluetooth with stereo speakers or headsets? (Not mono)

Is this meant to suggest that maybe music will transmit in stereo and just not mono? If anybody can confirm I will just buy my neice a stereo BT speaker to replace her mono BT speaker that won't work with this ROM and call it a day...

Android by default doesn't support music through mono earpieces or speakers but there is an app on the market place to reroute all sounds onto the Bluetooth earpiece if you want to go that route but it may not sound as good. I'm still not sure if stereo bluetooth headsets or speakers work since I don't own either and anyone hasn't said anything if it works or not. Hope this helps

Edit:
Here's that all I mentioned

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxistar.monobluetoothfree

I no longer receive push notifications for Twitter, Instagram FaceBook etc. Mail and SMS notifications seem to be unaffected though. Has anyone else experienced a loss of push notifications with third party apps?

Here is the speaker that she has tested this on:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Jam-Bluetooth-Speaker/22136933
I assume it is mono, as there is only one speaker, but the phone did transmit music to it automatically with the stock rom, and will not with any of the newer custom roms, so it doesn't seem like an app should be needed. Of course I will try the app next time I see her, though. Thanks for looking into this.

Well this is what the term "bugs" stand for when you decide to mod a phone and run something on it it isn't supposed to run... It's like trying to run a Xbox emulator on a Windows pc.... It works, but not flawlessly.

Okay so I just updated, however, my camera, gallery, and snapchat, are all saying that my external SD is not detected so I can't see anything. I followed the instructions and the phone works great, however, it keeps saying my SD card is not attached when in reality it is. Please help! Thanks for the ROM it is amazing!!!

Anyone get bluetooth stereo working? I'm still running stock and am concerned about a rollback... With that I think I'm GTG.

Funny this topic has come up recently. I just received a "Pyle" rugged bluetooth speaker as a gift this weekend. I was able to pair it with my elite, but only the track controls worked, the sound wouldn't. Just to test, I was able to get my wife's iPhone and another android phone to run it.

Something is up with the bluetooth sound on this rom.

Yeah, I'm looking in to it.

Discovered the 'Daily reboot' settings (Settings --> ROM Control --> Performance --> Other Settings tab) does not reboot.

Does anyone have a link to the 10/21 build I think that was the date I accidentally deleted my backup.and that build ran the smoothest on my phone thanks

What version of Gapps should I use? When I tried to launch messanger, google play, etc they crashed upon loading, I think I may be using a wrong version.
