Yes...it's 20% increments.

Did you format your partitions as well as wipe data? I'm on 22+ hours use today with light phone calls and texting, web browsing, not to mention general phone things like updating apps, playing with ADW Launcher's and Launcher Pro's latest versions to see how they compare after several updates (still have more cool features like swiping gestures with ADW...but LP just works better and smoother :)).

After all of that...I'm showing 40% battery remaining on both the notification icon as well as my battery widget. That is crazy battery life for me. Usually I would have been on the charger 4-5 hours ago.

I'm curious, what benefits does partioning the SD card do? I have apps going to the sd card already. I tried to partition it but the choices confused me.

Partitioning the SD card was necessary to implement apps2sd on Cyanogen ROMs. As far as I know, there are no benefits to partitioning the SD card for Froyo ROMs, since you don't need to partition to move apps to SD on Froyo.

I haven't had any issues with heat while using navigation (and I always have it plugged in to the charger in the car). Now, this might be attributable, at least in part, to the fact that my phone cradle is attached to the A/C vents in the car, so the A/C is blowing directly on my Droid while in navigation mode.

Haha...Yeah the summertime is not an issue with my Droid either cause I have the same thing going on with the AC Vents ;) And I would HIGHLY recommend that configuration as my phone stays around 60 Deg F when GPS is running (and AC running of course).

In the winter my phone would get rather hot when using GPS but if people are using a window or dash mount, they could get in big trouble in terms of heat if they had their phone plugged in running at 1.0GHz or better.

+1

I was not talking about partitioning the SD Card...I was talking about formatting the boot, system, data, and cache partitions of the phone's internal storage space. This helps to completely wipe out files and fragments left behind by previous ROMs.

If you wipe data...that just wipes the partition where your user data (user apps & data) is stored. It doesn't wipe the partition where all of the system files for your ROM are stored and it has been my experience that formatting the system partition is crucial, especially when changing between completely different ROMs (switching from Jrummy's Kangerade to Bugless Beast for example).

I also format the system before upgrading my existing ROM (BB 0.3 to BB 0.4). Some may say you don't have to...I disagree...but when you notice that you're the only one with a certain app force closing on you...that's probably the cause ;)

Man! Just loaded BB v.04 and it totally rocks! I hated 2.1 and eargerly awaited the 2.2 update, and/or just buying a faster device: Droid X. Now im wondering whether i really need a bigger screen and faster proc.

Anyone else wondering the same?

Where ya been?...we've be rockin out for a while on this :D

Yep...I'll still take a bigger screen but I'm holding out for a better upgrade option than what we have now. I just don't see anything currently available or soon-to-be-available that would make me jump ship. I'm waiting for a 2GHz processor and a 5" screen :p

Imagine Pete if every one of those 40,000 people sent him just $15 each...

hell dude, he'd be pretty happy if every one of them just sent $1 I'd imagine. Can't be much trouble for people to send a measly dollar or 2 each (: I have sent him $5 before, and as his ROMs progress I plan to send him more for his hard work.

Good reminder for everyone about the donations...I just dropped a few bucks and I would encourage everyone else to do the same. Even if you can only give $1...might as well right? ;)

Totally agree! I've donated for each new release I've actually used beyond testing (in other words, for most of Pete's releases).

I wish I could say the same...but I'd be lying. I give what I can when I can but kudos to you for being a strong supporter ;) I'm sure it's appreciated!

Anyone having trouble with flash? Couldn't find it in Settings>Manage Applications so I tried to download it from the Adobe website and I'm getting a message that says "The requested item could not be found." Any ideas?

Don't forget about the search button...

This is not usually pre-installed on the 2.2 ROMs so you have to download and install via Astro (or similar installer).
