I am also having problems with juice defender, it says apn change not allowed or something, and to go complain to my service provider lol, hahaha it worked with previous release of froyo, quite weird if I must say.

We'll probably just have to wait for a JD update. At least now I can test battery life for a while without it.

Gonna give it a try after I finish my Stouffers meat loaf - sad I know.

Backing up now and will install over BB0.3 with my KangaSaurus theme to see if it works.
I hate not wiping, but I am tired of it this week, LOL.

Also can report no issues coming from .3 but my OCD is kicking in and I am doing a full wipe and install (old habits die hard). Still can't connect with my home WIFI network (as with every 2.2 release) but I surrender. I never really use it. I shall go with the flow

Well the market is not working, and neither is gmail.

I think it's time to do a restore and go back

curious of performance increases in this beta bb.04 compared to a stable bb.03..... just trying to figure out if it's worth re-flashing :-)

Same question from me... Other than the build number, has anything at all changed? 0.3 has been working perfectly for me. Are there ANY improvements that anyone can point to?

Thanks.

I am wondering the same...I will report what I notice...one thing different is the button to press for USB sd card mount

Works great for me with Chevy's ULV 1.1 kernel. Also...is it just me or is the 3d app drawer gone in this release?? If that is done on purpose....THANK YOU PETE!!! That thing was laggy as all get out.

Gone for me too!!! Looks like the Droid X launcher. Without the goofy arrow button.

No problems with Juice Defender here... Using latest version and able to run setup and detect APN with no problems... I am going to let it run without JD for a few days anyway just to see how battery life is. My problem is that I play with the phone way too much so my screen greatly shortens my battery life! Gee, I wonder if anyone else has that issue? ;-)

Hey guys. I have been very busy lately so haven't flashed a new ROM in awhile. I'm currently at one of Pete's older Froyo ROMs. I have been having a few issues such as occasional reboots/FC issues/ETC on my current ROM and now that I have time time today, I want to upgrade to a newer BB. Was wondering if this version (0.4) is very stable or if I would be better off getting 0.3 for now? Since it says ROM Beta I am assuming it's not as stable as 0.3.

Well, I couldn't resist... Flashed and went straight into the first boot-loop I've had for quite awhile. And just when I had everything set up "right" on v0.3. I guess I'm going to have to wipe data and cache now and try again... Ugh.

I know this question has been asked a few times, but I haven't seen an answer. What is the main difference between this build and version 0.3? I just got 0.3 loaded on my phone Monday night and it is wonderful. I wanted to wait until Fab had a NexTheme for this build before I gave it a try and now that he has one I'm wondering if there is really any advantage to switching to this build considering 0.3 is nearly perfect on my phone. Is it that this newest build is more closely related to the official Droid 2.2 release? Other than the build number I'm not seeing much that says this build is different from the last one.

My WIFI works fine at home

Phone was pushing 10Mb down, 3Mb up (network is 24/4), when it would normally get 5/2 on 2.1

ugh i just got settled with v.03 and droid x theme and love it. im really to lazy to do it all over again and i love the droid x theme so.

My understanding is that is the main, and so far only, difference I've seen... 0.3 was running great and so far so is 0.4, I believe this update was simply to bring it up to date with the latest base 2.2...

This rom is pretty fast. Came from .03 and this just feels very snappy. Install went very easily. Applied bb.04, then nextheme, then transparent slider, then the P3 250-1250 kernal in the same recovery. Was expecting some complications, received none. Everything is working for me so far.

Thank you to Pete for another great rom. Also to Fabolous for getting his theme ported over so quickly.
