Nono, what I meant is
1) i am going to make a rom without firmware folder
2) so your firmware files in /system/etc/firmware folder is untouched


I just create a rom without firmware folder and it actually installed fine on my phone (version e). It rebooted okay too.

But I am getting LG Keyboard stopped error, on signing ><


Where's my unbrick file...
 
Thats what I forgot to mention. I get the LG keyboard error as well on your current rom. I use the JB Keyboard though so it slipped my mind. Dont know if I get that error due to the other things I freeze in TB or what? As soon as I enable JB keyboard the error stops (i guess cause its not the active keyboard any longer).

I thought the purpose behind removing the folder was so that it would flash on C and D..
 
I downloaded this had no major problems, just the lg keyboard when i try to add words to dictionary. Speed is still fast, oh yeah my blackmart alpha seems to work occasionally. Besides that good work Bard.

Yeah, thank you for reporting them. At this point I don't know why LG keyboard is getting errored out. It might be one of the LG security related or I might delete too many apps and files :p

I personally like LG keyboard over swype because it support one of the advanced Korean typing.

Just for fun fact, big phone manufacturers also developed there own Korean keyboards, there are silent keyboard war going on in Korea :)

lg keyboard is worthless. There are so many more better keyboards out there. It's really not even worth the time

Well it's a personal preference.
I will put something else when I make custom rom.
But being stock/deodexed, LG is the only choice :)

Does this have backup.apk.? I know it's bloat but it helps in transitioning from stock to deodex

You brought up a good point. I never thought to check, so I did. My system/app is empty of .odex. I do see some in system/framework. I guess I will let the OP handle this one because I dont know where they are supposed to be or not.:confused:

Umm this is a new error type that i never experienced (i did have lg.keyboard error. Wifi error tho..) i have few ideas on next patch hope, next will be better
