On a separate note... I noticed today that my MMS is not working.. I would like to note that before your ROM I couldn't get MMS to work with GO SMS. I would have to use the stock SMS, and even then If I were to go to GO SMS after I sent the message with the stock SMS It would error and close that text. Now when my stock says the pic is sent, it doesn't really send. One other thing to note would be.. I was dumb and uninstalled the stock MMS.apk and deleted the MMS.odex. I did back them up but, it wouldn't let me reinstall it.. Always says not installed after it tries. Any help on this issue would be great. Thanks ahead of time..
 
update the wifi is having issues staying connected have to do a battery pull to fix it im gonna download the hotfix right now ill keep u posted on how that works out

The status bar mod is included with the hotfix.

The MMS issue is going to take me a day or 2. The whole reason i didnt have my ROM out before playfulgod was because i couldnt de-odex the hiddenmenu for some reason. Since, i used his the mms settings are set for sprint and not boost mobile. IF you have your msl you can just change it in the ##3282# settings. I will have this fixed within a couple days guys, bare with me.

Im not having any wifi issues. This phone disconnects wifi after the screen turns off for a little while by default to save battery. I dont know how or if you can change this but i will see if i can disable it. It did it on the stock rom as well
 
TEMP FIX FOR MMS

until i fix this later this week, heres a workaround..


Pretty Easy To Do..


Go To Android Market

Install GoSMSPro
in go sms pro app
hit menu>settings>Advanced Tab>MMS settings>Fill APN config Manually

Enter:
MMSC: http://mm.myboostmobile.com
MMS proxy: blank
MMS Port: 80

You can now send MMS through GOSMS. The stock messaging app can still be used to receive MMS. Im still working on the issue guys so bare with me

HOPE THIS HELPS OUT.

I understand that is why this is the Beta.. lol. And my MMS Settings in Go are just Menu>Settings>MMS and MMS is in red.. Just thought you should know not sure if its my fault but, even with those settings (since I had already searched Google for hours and came up with this: and I did try it w/o a MMS Proxy as well same results. http://androidforums.com/lg-marquee/507616-help-mms-please.html) It says the MMS is sent but, it never sends. I also am wondering if I am the only one to experience an issue with GO SMS where after you send an MMS with either stock or GO it wont let you reopen the thread it errors out? Anyone else heard of or have experienced this issue with GO SMS?

As far as WiFi Tether/Hotspot goes... I have found it to work on my 2 laptops and WiFi enabled TV! Seems as if whatever you did Monster is better than any root tether app I have used yet!

Ahh... I cannot apply the hotfix since I used Marky Beats (yes I get it, very nice word play, haha) v1.1Beta.. Though I did have SuperStatusBar Pro.. It was great I loved it.. only downside is it seemed to eat more n more RAM Percentage throughout the day to where I would have to either reboot or terminate the app and restart it. Was to much for me..
 
Bionic Chronic what error is it giving u when u try to install the hotfix? it worked just fine when i did it and lMonsterl i just went into rom toolbox and changed the wifi scan interval to 30 seems to be working now cant wait for the mms to work though
 
To get it MMS to work: download aLogcat (free) from market. Open it and start the log. Hit the "home" button on the phone and go to dialer and enter ##3282# then hit "advanced" hit "view". Then hit the back button on your phone and go to "data profile" hit "edit" and enter 000000. It will say it is wrong, hold the home button and switch back to aLogcat and pause it. Hit "filter" and type msl

After you get that 6 digit code, go to ##3282# hit MMSC, edit, enter your msl, then change the address to http://mm.myboostmobile.com

Hit back and your done, you may need to reboot

I haven't tried to install the hotfix since it is intended for the previous version. Like I said I have V1.1 Beta so from what I read at the beginning of this thread was to not apply the hotfix to the V1.1.

its easy man, get at me on Talk and i can walk you through it if you have questions. takes less then 5 minutes
 
v1.1.2 posted. Changes to blue bootani, new default wallpaper, swype(themed) fixed, fixed root and superuser so no re-root or reinstall SU needed :)

you should be able to upgrade right from 1.1 without factory reset, if you have swype beta (swype installer) installed you may receive errors now, so uninstall that


edit: Also added Youtube with 720p hd by default on 3g and wifi

First of all, awesome work Monster, I havent been able to donate to you and playful yet, but i will when I get paid. Also, The MMS fix didnt seem to work for me, i tried it three times. Any ideas?

what didnt work? getting msl or changing the server?
 
does anyone know the data settings for boost mobile (when u enter ##3282#, i already have the msl code) i just need the carrer information to change it from sprint i cant find it anywere

after you update it, go back to the same menu and hit view instead of edit and make sure the setttings stuck. did u reboot?

im going to make a cwm recovery and then you can restore from it and should be ok. Deal?
