Root (ROM) CM7.2 Admire port Boraichee

Boraichee, I know everybody's tossed about a thousand ideas at you, but you might consider talking to PlayfulGod? He's done a LOT of port/crossover ROMs for CM on a bunch of devices, a good number of em for Metro PCS. Up to you, but it's an idea? He collaborates too, so he might be able to point you to someone with a better answer if he doesn't have one. I'd offer to help myself, but I'm still very new to development, and I'm not familiar enough to dive into kernel-level work. XD

I agree with this. I had his cm7 rom when i was on the optimus m. he did a really good job

Any updates on at least the service/data and I'm guessing you can't just take the "drivers" from the phone for the radio and replace within cm7
 
I (partially) ported Sense, and TouchWiz to the GNex. I'd love to help with this. I have a friend with this device, and he really wants Cyanogen. I assume your using the the correct libs? Also I don't have a device for a logcat, but if you're willing to share the latest one you have...

EDIT: Seeing this would make a MIUI port easy.

Ok... so if I'm using the Admiral Beast mod, would a logcat from me work? If not i will happily flash back to stock for MIUI. Ive been reading about it forever and I'd love to finally be using a device that can get a MIUI port.

Not saying I don't want CM as an option too... they both rock. I just like the idea having the option to see what its really like.

Just tell me what i need to get you lol.
 
I just pmed playfulgod. Also im getting help from genovdot and requisite0 so respects should go to them for being right there with me on this project. So far today i have not worked on this but i will be later tonight. I will keep everyone posted and will release a VERY unstable beta just to see if anyone else can help. If well all come together we WILL have cm7 on admire.

Before i started this i was toying with a ics port. Right now cm7 is my main project but you have been pmed

No rush for me man. I know how involved and time-consuming this stuff can be. I for one will DL the beta and see if i can help fine tune the software level somehow. Respect goes to each and everyone of you for having enough love for these wonderful pieces of tech that you put your sweat and tears into them for us. Much love!
