Root (ROM) CM7.2 Admire port Boraichee

this is great i really liked my ascend. you take and add 200 more mhz. better battery life and 3.5 headphone jack. there you go. The admire will be like a ascend on roids. THANKS AGAIN TO ALL THE DEVS.!!! AND UNFORGIVEN 512. If you need a nother tester I'm ready to go. I am a disabled combat vet so i have a little spare time. thanks RANGERS LEAD THE WAY.

there would be minor difference in how the phone operates on the specific network but tell you guys what leave this person a lone, let him finish this for the admire then you can with his permission take the rom to someone who wants to port it to the other providers phone
 
a few xml files would needed to be swapped for mms and data for the vitality.

the nice thing is due to kernel source working and with whats being done on the prevail you guys should expect to see some overclocking and undervolting in due time. requisite0 has been bustin his ass to bring yall this so i hope you guys enjoy it :)
 
Oh ok.. my bad.. thought it was a totally differnt phone... But yea. now I understand why my Admire's mms isn't working right... it is actually a Samsung Admire with Ntelos as the carrier... so maybe thats the real reason these ROMs cause the mms not to work right... bummer!! Now I need to find someone with a stock ROM for the Samsung Admire with nTelos carrier... weird thing is... it does regular text messages and send/recieve calls just fine... wander if I could get the right peices for mine to patch to these ROMs?

If anyone has the nTelos Admire stock ROM could you please send me a link? PM it or what not?

lol don't much care if they enjoy it. If I were doing this for anything other than my own personal experience, I'd have posted a PayPal donate link by now :P
 
NOO!!! Don't do this to me! I have been flashing roms for about a year now, started on the Evo 4g and toyed with many phones since, and yesterday I got an Admire for NTelos. I saw there was no mods AT ALL for it until a few months ago, and after scouring through many a forum, this thread caught my attention. I read about the other devs and their work and when I saw these guys doing it for free, I about shat myself. I LOVE CyanogenMod and was getting VERY excited to see that 7.2 was being rebuilt for this phone. I got to page five in this thread, could virtually smell the success of CM7, and BAM! No posts for almost a week. What happened? Is it still being done? I mean, don't get me wrong, I know how things work in this world so if its still a matter of time, thats cool. But its CM7 still almost ready for release or did it already happen and I missed something? O.o
