There is no notification LED on this phone. That's the light sensor and proximity sensor.

If you are talking about about the front camera, there is no led. that is a proximity sensor. The Marquee does not have led notification.

WooooHoooo...... this thing is flying!! I Downloaded Pimper, added a few tweaks and it looks like they worked.

My SD card is updated and fat 32 format tested in Cwm made a backup with no issues. Gonna reflash CT now. Thanks guys for your help.

After I flashed the Rom and tried the camera. No luck. Rear camera, led flash and proximity sensors have failed. I give up!!!!?:confused::confused:

How long has antutu been around... Shouldn't they have the typos fixed inn their ui by now? (hint: look near the bottom of the screen)

CTMod is great so far -- really impressed, so first off thanks! I just switched over from my Optimus S on Sprint and it was a smooth transition...

NM, solved my issue, thanks!

First. Thank you blood for this ROM. its a great redo of the stock Marquee ROM.

OK and here it comes.

I was running 3.68 for the longest of time. No complaints what-so-ever.

When I updated to 3.75 I had a issue with Wifi. That got solved by reflashing it.

Now I am having a majorly annoying issue.

This phone is laggier then a Windows Vista; pre SP1 computer. With 3.68 EVERYTHING was snappy when you ran a program. Now it takes forever and a day to load programs. Opera Mobile, facebook and several other programs take 25 seconds or longer just to become usable. And sometimes I have to kill the program and restart. I never had that issue before. There are times I have to do a batter pull just so it will be responsive.

I have it over locked to 1.2 Ghz using ROM toolbox and I have it using interactive and deadline IO scheduler. I only have Gmail, Google Voice, Norton Security, Battery Clock pro and clock sync running at startup besides the mandatory system programs. I have not tweaked the kernel or anything of the sort. And I had those settings for 3.68.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Also I need to know if I can replace SuperSU with Superuser.

Nobody else has reported any lag so you may have a bad flash or something got corrupt. Try redownloading it and reflashing.

To replace supersu get your Superuser.apk and it's SU binary file, push the apk to /system/app and push the binary to /system/xbin

What about the io scheduler and governor?

I just updated to CTMod 3.75 and its great (thanks Bloodawn!). I set up all the sync stuff with my Google account and it worked great at first. My contacts, calendar, and Google Play all were working fine. Then I did a reboot and it all went away. Not only does the sync not work any more, but the contacts have disappeared. I tried rebooting a few more times with no luck. Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution.

I posted here because the update is the only thing I've done to my phone recently and I figured it might be related.

Mine is laggy too. Thought it was just me, although I have nothing to compare it to except the stock Marquee. Some apps don't load all the way, I get numerous "not responding" error where I have to force close apps, sometimes even battery pull just to get the phone back to normal.

If you guys have problems the only thing I can say to do is reflash it and don't restore data or apps, just install them from scratch.

Did you do a factory reset before you flashed the ROM? If not, try that when you do a fresh install. Also, give the phone at least 5 minutes after it has booted up before you start messing with it.

I've flashed back and forth between the new version of CTMod and the AOKP alpha ROMs several times and I haven't had any issues when returning to CTMOd. I've even got the zram enabled and it's working great. I always do a factory reset even if I'm flashing a CWM backup. ;)

Can someone help me boot into clockwork mod???

I downloaded cwm on phone from google play store and downloaded CTMOD 3.75 from computer, extracted it to new folder, and dragged it to my phones sdcard. I tuned the phone off, held down volume button and power button, but it just takes me to factory reset options. I turned the phone back on and opened cwm app and it says the phone need to be rooted for cwm to work.

It's not that simple, in particular if you are on stock ROM ZVC. ZV9 is easier. Here's the more complicated guide, to give you an idea what you are up against:
How to Root the LG Marquee (LS855) running the ZVC update on Sprint - TheUnlockrTheUnlockr

I'm at step V-4. "Type in 1 and then hit the enter key on your keyboard."
I don't know where to type 1. cwm-windows.bat is open though with a long list of info. I'm using linux though.

These are instructions for Windows, you cannot follow them on Linux, you need to see if there's an equivalent for Linux if you don't have a Windows machine available.
