Is it possible to integrate some settings like that SD Booster changes? the SD Cache size? would be nice to not need another app!
 
Ok besides stating the obvious. I am new to the forums, new to rooting in general.. The prevail was my first android device and I wanted to say thank you soooooooooooo much for this great ROM. I have now flashed it to 2 prevails and have also rooted and flashed a LG Ally... Matter of fact, I just finished everything a couple hours ago and wanted to tell ALL of you, Shabby, interdpth, bloodawn, mavrikmeerkat, I'm sure there are tons more, and I have been thanking all of you in posts that I have "Used" to root these devices... I wish I could donate some money, but alas, I could use some donating myself...

HUGE BRAVO!! :D
 
hey blood...once we flash to 2.4 will that wipe out stuff with the buildprop like v6 and kak? with the changes you made to 2.4 will those tweeks even be needed?

they aren't really needed right now but yea it will wipe them out

I completely redid the build.prop and I added a new ram optimizer script too. the phone seems to be alot more responsive then 2.3

i never really seen that much of a diff. period. with v6 and kak i never used 3g t/c..i was gonna make some changes to the buildprop but sense blood said hes redone the buildprop i will juzt hold out a few more days for 2.4
 
I can't get my phone/computer to recognize my usb connection other than charging. I have reinstalled the usb I have all the settings turned on, and it's still not connecting. It connects wth my wife's phone perfectly. I have changed usb cords and everything. Do i have to do a factory system clear? I mean.. I just am at a loss right now. Please help guys. Oh and I'm running ctmod 2.3, kouma kernel, cwm5?, a2sd.

the usb plug on your phone may be messed up
 
Even better my computer wont let me transfer my backup to my SD card because it is unwritable data. I'm getting pissed I can't figure it out!
 
Thank you so much for this mod! My phone is really much faster now. I also really like the theme and minimalistic approach!

Since I haven't really seen any solid video tutorials on how to load this program in, I have made a tutorial that will be loaded on youtube and posted in the thread to help out... Great job on CTmod!
 
i am new to this as some others are....i am having issues with cwm...i have the ctmod on my sd card and when i use cwm to flash it it does not show up on the recovery screen? please help
 
I have placed the zipped folder on my sdcard but when i try to select load zip from sd card it searchs automatically and says no file was found and aborts what do i do?
 
uaitgonsco and nickaxion...it is "CTmod.zip" right? make sure you have the cyan colored CWM and pressing "apply zip to sdcard" not "apply update to sd card".
