Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

I use Mixzing as my media player. It didn't read a lot of my music either. All I did was go into file explorer and cut and paste every mp3 into a new folder then move it back to the Music folder and it all showed up in the library. Dunno the cause but this fixed it so no big deal.
 
Is it safe to update to FA19 while running this mod? I got a pop up asking to install the update while running cynosure and I am still running cynosure 2.3 or was it 2.5? Ide have to look after the phone charges as it's basically dead right now
 
If you are running 3.2 , you shouldn't get the update . Bloodawn fixed it . If you choose to run the update , I would use Odin to install Kouma's rooted FA19 version then install CTMod 3.2 .

You don't need dta2sd if you use KK2.0. KK2.0 does the same thing. So the best way to install from my experience if that's what you're asking, is to first Odin to Stock Gingerbread rooted w/ CWM EJ06 or FA19. Then install CTMod 3.2. Then I install the volumefix.zip that Blood posted a couple days ago because the ringtones and notifications were pretty low volume for me. This is when I go into CWM and partition my sdcard. Then install KK2.0. That's what I did with my last install and it's working very well.

Also, I reboot between each step. I don't know if it's absolutely necessary every time, but it's how I've gotten the best results.

I FOLLOWED YOUR STEPS TO TRY AND GET THE SD EXT TO WORK BUT IT WAS A NO GO.
I REBOOT INTO RECOVER EVERYTIME. BUT ITS GOT NOTHING! XP
i go into the storage section to see the internal but its just the same as it is without the memory card.
it does show the memory card to be less then its supposed to be too.
so it is partitioned. xP
ps sorry bout the caps lock.

i wasnt having the issue.
but now im left without the data on sd-ext . xD
and ive tried installing the kk
for it with no luck.

is it safe to install koumakernal 2.0??
im currently running ctmod3.2 and just got everything installed back on that i like.
also i would like to use winamp so is it safe to remove music1.0 and music player 1.0 ??????
 
It's safe to install KK 2.0 . Just be sure to format your card properly .

As for the music apps . I'm not sure . We have had problems with losing bluetooth in the past when messing with the music app . Blood may have fixed that . Just make a Titanium backup of the music app and then uninstall it . Then try the music app that you wanted . Check bluetooth . If it doesn't work . re-install the music app from Titanium .

you should be able to do anything with the music apps you want now without any problems

LOL I thought you had fixed it but didn't wanna tell him it was cool to delete it without knowing for sure and then his bluetooth quit working . You know how that goes .
 
Is anyone else having an issue with the lock key when making calls ? Anytime I'm on a call, I have to hit the lock key to get to the keypad, etc.. but that put's the phone in standby(black screen) and I have to hit it again to get the screen back.

Also, would I still use the livewallpaper fix to get 3d wallpapers back.


I'm using CTMOD 3.2 /w KK 2.0
 
Yeah , this is a known issue .
Here's a zip with the Live wallpapers in it . Flash using in CWM and you'll be good2go.

does this have hiddensettings.apk ... im trying to do interdepths faster 3g method and when i dial ##8282# nothing happens

Damn it, I did. What I meant to say was, I cant wait for the Blue Theme to be available for 3.2. Thanks wetbiker for making me retract and rephrase my statement like im a no good politician :rolleyes: 40 lashes with a wet noodle for me
