Root [ROM/CWM/Kernel] CM7.2-RC1-requisite0 [BETA2]

I am getting an error in my recovery, says this right when it boots up and every so often while I am in it:

E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log

Last time I got this, I flashed CWM again and it went away. Also, I ma back to the original large font as well, I can't get it to go back :(

Everything boots up fine when I flash it, but I have to manually install Play Store, however when I get to the Google log in, it can't establish a connection

If you're back to the 'large font' you've installed the wrong Kernel/CWM package. Is your data indicator on?

I toggled airplane mode and got roaming to go away, and yeah, I'm on nTelos. I flashed the package after the rom, right before gapps.

Had to use wifi to get signed in to Google, now the color of the network bars went from that white-ish to green/yellow, and I can install apps on the market. However, turning wifi off shows me that I have no data when I go into Play Store. O.o

Try manually installing a different version of Play Store. I read on a Motorola forum that people are having issues because the latest version isn't fully universal on all devices.
 
for some reason my data says its its on but the arrows dont light up and it wont let me do anything data wise, ive set my apn to where i had it before and did it manually. i didnt have this problem in alpha 5
 
Lmao I was formatting /system that's y I boot looped! Anyways I formatted all but system and let the market. Update byitself. Suddenly, it worked! Thanks guys!

I had the same issue. I restored my A5 config so I at least have a working phone for now -.-
 
Have not experienced this until flashing beta 2, my home button does not function and I have no lockscreen either? Doubt I have mms but data does work, thanks for that :p, dont want my post to come off ungrateful because I am thankful for all the time you've spent getting this far
 
Data issue here as well. But man oh man is this Rom zippy or what?!?! Even had more tweaks under settings then when I installed it on my Evo. But umm yea reflashed back Monster4 cause I need data working. I tried a couple setting changes under mobile network. Set it to automatic and cdma only. And played with all the other options under those two menus. Rebooting after each switch. But no go with data still. I also got that error mentioned above about the error on mounting cache or what not in the recovery.

I agree, very fast and relatively stable. Req0 is doing a fabulous job with this rom, I can't wait for it to be complete. I, too, had CM7 on my Evo and this one actually runs better.
 
same, i get data but slow as hell, (speedtest.netonly lets me connect to servers in mid west, not west coast) no mms, no camera, half my apps wont download from the market but all other functions worked, lock screens a plus! loooking forward to more updates
*usually the network is cdma auto(prl) only, can only choose between cdma and cdma/evdo
 
Coming from: Verbous GenoCYde (previous to that Admiral Beast)

Successfully installed Beta 2.
Confirmed that Data is not working on my phone.
Going to attempt APN restore and see what happens.
APN Restore didn't help things.
Will try to wait out the Data issue.
