Need your /system/etc/apns-conf.xml from stock, and I can make an APN installer zip for PagePlus. How about pageplus? Thanks.
does anyone else just get two signal bars?
Help!!!!
Followed Directions to the letter. on mounting /system generated an error. thought this was normal so installed gapps and then rebooted. Stuck on ANDROID screen. What did I do wrong and How do I fix this?
So it this working right, or still having issue?

Just tried beta2 and having some problems.. google apps didn't install properly, usual roaming mode started, camera wouldn't exit right, going back to more stable alpha5, until...also getting the same messages bloodin' was getting in CWM about cachelog msgs.. don't think that's a real issue though... also, was the seperate carrier zips also updated for beta 1 and beta 2 or can I use the same ntelos patch? I am willing to give beta2 another shot or 3 or whatever until things get right.. but backup up to alpha5 for the moment to keep phone working ok incase she gets an important msg from Ed McMahon or something!
By the way, alpha5 on her phone is the best ROM in my opinion this Admire has had on it!So, just letting you know req0, you are doing fine.. enjoy yourself and don't rush things.. because you can't rush perfection... by the way.. I heard talk of adreno for the kernel to help cpu/gpu boosts, do you think that will also be in the works for this arm?
Req0, what is different between us on here and the people on IRC? Also, if I have A5 installed and running fine, is it best to flash B2 over top or format the crap out of my phone before flashing?
Always best to format /system /data /sd ext /cache etc.
I am thinking that once this is nailed down req0 will add a script to automatically do this when running the more official release...
Just something I have seen alot of devs do when there is a more stable/official version of their releases.![]()
Yeah, but that's a huge pain in the ass to fix for every carrier (involves editing framework-res.apk), I'll worry about cosmetic things like that when we can nail down the existing issues.EDIT: Well, except for it saying Metro PCS as my network, lol
When this is stable, will it have the nexus boot ani or the CM7.2 bootani? not really concerned, just wanna know
The installer script formats /system, /data, and /cache. Nothing else really needs to be formatted. I'm editing the gapps package right now to streamline the process even more. I might just include gapps natively to keep all this bullshit from happening. Frustrates the hell out of me when it seems to work for with no problems for 90% of the users I regularly talk to on IRC, but it seems like 90% of the people on the forums have problems.

I wiped data/factory reset, wiped cache, wiped dalvic cache, wiped battery stats, formatted /system, /data, and /cache each three times and then installed everything according to the guide. Once booted I toggled airplane mode and let it sit. After that everything is fine, FINALLY!
