hey sorry might be a stupid question but do you have to wipe data system ect. like in a normal rom i know you probably do but i just wanted to know because i dont wanna lose all apps!!!!!! Please reply

The install script formats everything, but I do it anyways, just in case :)

Look in the original post, instructions are there about flashing the new CWM and everything. Follow the directions and then let the phone sit after first boot, then toggle airplane mode on and off. Should be golden :)
 
how would i put the samsung admire on boost mobile at this point if possible i have a boost mobile phone with an active account so do i know i need to flash a boost mobile prl but is there some information on the phone that i need to copy over using qpst
 
ok i flashed and everything went fine..but now i got a brain fart..my google play is gone.i installed the gapps but not sure if i did it right.and thanks again for your hard work
 
i am extremely sorry for my n00bish comments flooding the thread. i was not fully understanding the instructions is all. i have cm7.2 up and running on my admire. I thank requisite0 for all his hard work and dedication.
 
ok.say i wanna go back to monster4...can i just flash it the way i always have or do i gotta do something different since i flashed new cwm and kernel?
 
like to keep my options open...loving your rom at the moment tho :) nice work.if i can get logged in google and sync my contacts i will be extremely happy.thanks again
 
this phone is not officially on pageplus

most of us just flashed the pageplus prl and made it work one ppc.

so i dont think there is any 'stock apn' settings for this phone. but i am not sure.

i would like to post the apn.xml if you could tell me how to get it from the phone...or from the carrier?

i will first try to pull the /system/etc/apns-conf.xml from the phone, as currently data is working on my phone.

Does this sound OK?

If you've got data working, then yeah, just pull the /system/etc/apns-conf.xml and upload it somewhere and I can set you up with an updater zip to make it work for CM7.2.
