Okay. So let me tell you how to do this to make sure everything works for you.
Flash CWM 5.0.2.8
Flash Alpha 2
Flash Alpha 5
Flash Beta 2
Mount System
Install GApps.
Reboot System.

I don't imagine that would work, req0 stated that when you flash B2, it formats /system, /data and /cache, so flashing A2 and A5 before would be pointless, I suppose

Wiped over everything a million times and reflashed Beta 2. This time I had everything functioning besides MMS I'd believe. Not sure what caused the home button to not work prior

It's not entirely pointless. It's just the easiest way to do it. That way NO problems *should* arise.

Yeah, true. However, from what I understand, B2 was supposed to fix a lot of those things in the alpha series that required multiple flashes in the first place. He was going for an all-in-one. But, hey, couldn't hurt lol
i will try it in the morning im flashed out / went from monster4 to v.g.666 to 7.2 back to v.g.666 thanks for the help. you too Grandfinalex.
B2 formats /system, /data, and /cache, as does Alpha2. Kinda pointless.
gf tripped over my charger and it fell on tile sooHaven't done any battery life testing, but my battery definitely can last me all day, and has, and I've been using CM7 exclusively since Alpha1. See what you've got running that's eating up your battery.

Did you install GApps and turn Airplane mode on and off?

After using it for a while I started to see some errors.....
* I could not find the google play store app.
*The option to add a google account is no there either.
*The camera button on the right side is not working
*Camera opens, but when I take a picture , It freezes and goes white ( forces me to close it)
*Data works for a while for me, but then randomly it does not. ( I don't know if it's the rom or that metro is still upgrading it's network)
*Every time I play something with audio, It tells me the DSP manger has crashed and forces me to close it.
*Also there is a triangle right next to my signal bar ??
Aside from those issues I have found everything else to be working just fine... Can thank you enough for all the hard work you have done.. we are so close to having a fully, issue free CM 7.2 on our phones. Again Thanks For Everything

It's not Google Play, it's Market on the ROM before updating.
Turn Airplane Mode on and Off to get rid of Triangle.
Camera issue is being worked on by Req.

Q:I have no market app or access to my google account, what do?
A:Make sure that you have mounted the system and install the GApps in CWM. This gives you access to the MARKET. Not the Google Play Store. The market will eventually auto-update. When you access the market for the first time, it will ask you to sign into your Google Account.
Q:How do I get rid of this ugly Triangle??
A:Turn Airplane mode on and off, that should give you 3G Access.
Q:Why don't MMS and the Camera work for me?
A:Those are currently broken, Req is working on making them work for ALL of us. So be patient

So, I totally had everything working for a while and then the Market stopped working. Won't download any apps, getting the 492 error. Gah! -.-

Lucky you. I happen to have that error earlier. Unfortunately, the way I fixed it was deleting everything. Flashing Beta 2 again. Mounting the system installing GApps and taking everything slow with my phone. After you install GApps and First Boot, LET YOUR PHONE SETTLE. lol
Thanks So Much Requisite0 For This ROM!!! It's Awesome!!! Data, WiFi,GPS,Texts, Phone calls Are Working Fine. I've Run Into A Couple Of Errors. DPS Manager Force Closes A Lot, Auto Brightness Isn't Working, I Get Very Low Signal Strength, MMS Doesn't Work( I'm On Metro), The Camera Works But When I Take A Pic It Freezes, And After Updating My PRL It Says It Failed. But After Rebooting My Phone I Think The PRL Update When Through Anyways. I Can't Wait For All This To Be Fixed And This ROM Will Be Even More Awesome. I Have Been Using It For The Past Three Days And It's Already Better Than Any Other ROM Out There. Keep Up The Good Work!!!! I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!!!

Yeah, I did the same thing earlier today, but now its being a *****e again. I'll have to do it tomorrow, today I've done more flashing than a drunk chick at Mardi Gras
Good news is I'll have access to a phone with service tomorrow to play. Hopefully I can reproduce alot of the problems you guys are having and get some decent debugging in.
