What the hell is this?
It's my build(s) of Cyanogenmod 7.2 Release Candidate 1, ClockWorkMod Recovery 5.0.2.8, and my custom Kernel.

How do I use it?

  1. First make sure you do a nandroid backup.
  2. Flash my CWM Recovery and Kernel package.
  3. Reboot into the new CWM Recovery and perform a factory reset.
  4. Install the latest version of my Cyanogenmod 7.2 ROM.
  5. Go to Mounts and Storage from the main CWM menu, and click on mount /system.
  6. Install the latest gapps.
  7. Reboot and wait (first boot might take a minute).

What works?
Wifi
Bluetooth
Data
Texting
Cell Service
USB

What doesn't work?
Camera
MMS

Do you provide source code?

What did you change recently?

Of course. Shabbypenguin was there for me in the beginning. Unforgiven512 provided me a basic device profile to go off of. SuigintouLain provided the original CWM I used to flash my kernel and CWM. hroark13 helped me indirectly by providing his Galaxy Prevail device profile which helped me learn quite a bit, and directly by providing his RIL, Battery Server, and USB Controller code, and nudging me in the right direction for fixing data. And last but not least, pressy4pie for helping me test and being a good little monkey.

Don't panic, just install SuigintouLain's original CWM and restore from your nandroid backup you made earlier. (You DID make one, didn't you?)

so i just tested this out step by step and when i boot my phone up it says android as if it was going into cwm then it shows my old boot animation from my previous rom and is just stuck in a bootloop.

Mine did the same thing with the old boot but it booted just fine
 
should it be showing up with sprint when i have my apn settings set for metro
if anyone would be kind enough to post their apn settings so i can cross check them

Is backing up your APN a requirement to get data working? I am on Ntelos and have been running Monster 4, but my browser isn't working, and my MMS, calls, Facebook and everything all work. Since I am on Ntelos, does anyone know if I will have the same MMS issues or if anything else will be broken? Right now my phone says I am on the Metro PCS network for some reason and I was also wondering if I back up my APN will it back up the Metro one and not Ntelos. So many questions, I know -.-

Would you mind posting your APN so I can use it to restore? After doing the *228 I went from Digital Roaming to No Service for some odd reason.

it should restore in thoery but i have yet to test it fully, i live in my parents basement :( (horrible service)
 
Hey Requisite0, possible you can put the older version we need to install back on the OP as well... I never got it because I didn't realize I would need to install atleast alpha2 in order to install alpha5... I appreciate it.. take your time.. I am downloading this with my phone atm because my wifi is out temporarily for a few days until my broke ass can pay the bill...
