LMAO if you really insist on getting a new phone for overclocking, then I suggest flashing MetroNoob's stock 2.3.4 backup before seeing a sales representative just in case (be sure you flash CWM 5.0.2.7 first):

It'd be safer that way, assuming you run into a MetroPCS sales representative that can tell that the phone is rooted and modded (better safe than sorry)

No idea why you're getting a ReiserFS error, as we're not using Reiser, we're using ext4. You're using my CWM and my CM7 ROM as posted in the original post?

Go into Settings / Manage applications / All, and clear data for "Google Play Store". Then go to play store, accept and then go home and let it load all the way.. I rebooted as well and then it worked.

As a temporary fix, use Fast Burst Camera Lite. It has the ability to take photos.

Already looking into it. It just tells me that my instincts were correct to begin with, and it's not the lib files.

Don't know if you knew already but Bluetooth causes a lot of force closes and the phone to free constantly

gps and data not working thou..... no 3g signal... wifi works... no 3g data?!

also... like i said, no gps...

If anyone wants to take still photos, look into CameraZoomFX you can either buy it or get the free version. I bought it and I can take photos on this wonderful rom and edit them right in the app. And then I post them to Instagram of course...lol. So the camera "issue" isnt that much of an "issue" for me

I had a problem with the market at first but now its fine had reflashed cm7 let it boot then formatted and wiped everything and then flashed miui

Yeah, this app takes single pics at 640x480, or you can set it to "burst" a series of pics every x number of milliseconds. I think its a little lame, but I don't know any other camera apps that take better quality pics. However, I guess we can assume that its a software issue since other camera apps work.

Hopefully req can figure out why the CM7 camera doesn't work right, it is much better than these apps, lol

You're downloading the CWM tar from that thread. The zip linked in the OP is a CWM flashable zip that you can flash on 5.0.2.8 to go back to 5.0.2.7.

Totally thought that post got buhleted by a mod. I'm making an effort to be less of an, uh, expletive deleted, to the community. I don't know how much free time I'm going to have other the next few weeks though, as the projects I've been working on that actually make me money are ramping up something serious. Camera is definitely my #1 priority, with more stable data and MMS following closely.
