Root [ROM] DarkSlide X

No.........sorry to say the rom was way too incomplete for me. Also had reboot issues.
So i did flash back to 340, then the 2 P3 GB files. After i got things set back up i flashed Bo's BWC...............

My phone works awesome now and looks complete. BBC seemed far too busy to finish the theme of the rom. Others on the thread have been doing that. Many are still waiting for some updates.

It is a decent rom but imo there are others that do it all much better (Apex for example)

Yeah, like I said, the dialer isn't a big deal breaker, but nonetheless, it was still nice.


The desire was gone, ture, but that was just the final nail in the coffin :D
 
Thanks for posting this. Darkslide was always one of my favs on Froyo as well. Battery life on it was great...so going to have to try this gb one.

RuhRoh Shaggy. Not what I wanted to hear but thanks for the info. I might have to stay clear of this one and end up doing what you did to get back my missing blur *cough* HDMI support. I think I'm going to be bored as hell running GB though especially after CM7. :(
 
about damn time Darkslide finally got its own thread...

i've been running this for a couple of weeks now and love it. My battery life is just amazing!

Got a question about current version. I went and clicked on the link above to download DS and on that page it says (updated 06/21/11 8pm). Is this the most current version?

Just wondering, because at the beginning of the thread seemed to be some issued with some force closes with the market and such. Didn't know if they had been fixed.

but they dont count, they should know aosp is better than blur, in all aspects :p

nah blur does have some good features that aosp doesnt
