Root [ROM] DroidSmith_Force - Beta

OK I'll put it back. I'm going to make a few adjustments to the kernel, and should have a new build for you guys soon
 
I never used it either...but I'm still having problems with the sceeen rotation though...maybe a new build will fix it...

At 1.67 battery life does take a hit depending on the governor. I would recommend clocking the system back to 1.5 with the ondemand2 governor. That is the default settings for the device, and should bring the battery life back up.

On a side note I made some progress with the kernel tonight and have brought up the benchmarks. A new build will be up soon.

Here is my bench with Antutu. The bench in OP was with quadrant. As it is clear to see we are kicking some SGS2 butt, which is cool because our device was cheaper. If I have my way we will see 15000's in Antutu. I was running 384 - 1.67 performance noop for this bench

 
I must warn all and any users of Google wallet, if and when you flash a new ROM, whether it be going from dsf to cm10 or just upgrading, make sure you unlink your phone from Google wallet before doing so, and if you flash gapps, make sure you do it before you flash/install Google wallet or you will bork the secure element and render Google wallet completely useless. There is no way to fix this, this is a security feature made to ensure none of your personal information is stolen.

so far so good on the new rom you have up. the only problem i am having now is the vvm not working, it times out when trying to validate my phone but other than that everything else is working great :D i will try to reinstall the app for vvm and get back to you and let you know if that fixes the issue
 
ok here is an update i reinstalled the vvm app to no avail later when i get the chance i will try to wipe system and dalvik again and reflash and see if that fixes it
 
Sorry. I don't know what the issue is with the rotation. Its working fine on my phone. Have you tweaked the system any?
