Root [ROM] GingerSteem Extreme II for the LG Esteem MS910

I just got my esteem yesterday. i love it. Its rooted and has cwm 5.0 something something.
So as i understand it, there is currently no OCed kernel for zvd yet right?
so was is the difference between b,c, and d. Are they the versions?

has anyone thought of making our phones do data and voice at the same time... I am almost positive the hardware is capable of it... Software is where we need to do it I think... Comments, suggestions? I'd be willing to help make it happen :)

Thought the esteem was already capable, just not over LTE cuz metro doesn't have the servers for it yet. I think it works on wifi though

the phone prolly can do it, metros network cant ;)

hey playfulgod dose this work for zvd? and dose the cm7 work with zvd?.... sorry a lil off topic :)

Nobody:confused: Many have problems
Every phone is different...Homeless on ZVC should be fine.:)
Plague 2.2 on my ZVD didn't fair very well:(

What kernel DOES fare well on ZVD? im currently on ZVC and im debating updating to ZVD but i wanted to wait until a stable ROM and kernel were made first as well as allow problems or issues with ZVD to manifest themselves. Ive been eyeballing the homeless kernel but im currently using plague. Biggie, what are some of the pro's con's of the ZVC kernels?

I think u should update to zvd bro IM currently testing a ROM and a overclocked kernel and how it's looking it's coming along really really good ;)

from what i'm told the connect and attain are capable of data and voice at the same time right now on metro's network, soooooo i figured maybe we could give the esteem a whirl :)

that feature alone almost made me "downgrade"

Its a cool feature indeed, however, how many times do you really talk and use the web at the same time? Realistically.....

The reason the attain and connect do this is because they are CAT3 (category 3) handsets and use a different type of "SIM" card. The connect actually uses a micro SIM (uiccid card). This technology is pretty similar to T-Mobile's GSM

in all honesty, i would utilize it rather frequently for business purposes... someone is giving me an address for gps, someone needs something looked up for price, etc... would be nice :)
