Root [ROM] GingerSteem Extreme II for the LG Esteem MS910

Yes can't port anything from ZVD source is not out yet... Unless it has been released? Have been at work almost all day so could be wrong. Am curious as to why people seemed to upgrade to ZVD then install a ZVB ROM. Just wondering

Just need the zvd src for the kernel upgrades. But the versioning still says zvd n my guess the changes are in the kernel n areas we don't touch.

How do u have a vzd kernel when the zvd src isn't available yet?

All I did was update to zvd the flashed my rom over it which wipes system n boot completely. So the kernel is still zvc based. ;)

I never said i made it. :P. and all i really did it take a kernel from u, deleted the files in the extracted version, put the files from stock in the correct files, and took your boot.img from gse2 and zipped it and flashed it. Habent had a reboot ever since i updated to zvd. I flashed the 2.2 kernel and it rebooted, did what i just said, and i guess it counts it as zvd cuz i havent rebooted for a week so far. (Used to boot cycle at least twice a day) i still have the zip file i "made" if u want me to share it with ya. You might be able to do more with it than i can.

Still the kernel itself is zvc lol. Even if you unpacked the boot.img, the zImage aka kernel would need to be compiled from the zvd src.

The 2.2Ghz kernel is compiled from zvb n even maybe zva I don't recall now lol

My esteem hasn't rebooted either on zvd w/ gse II flashed over. Have had a few lock ups after playing stupid zombies for over an hour tho lol, but that could be from being oc'd @2Ghz too, not tried it at a lower setting to see yet.

But then why did mine reboot with gse2 til i flashed the kernel? O.o...
And ya, cant stop killing zombies... too much fun. Its like a drug, ya cant shake it off your back and the more u play, the more massacre u must commit to get the same pleasure as before. :P

Dunno, have u tried it how I've done it?
 
if i were to flash this and i had the rebooting problem and updated to zvd which stopped it will this rom give me the rebooting problems again?
 
i wonder if someone has in here lol nd hey when ur done with CM7 will it be like the ascend where its theme chooser to change the icons and status bar and everything ? and will also require to flash the kernal seperate and flashing gAPPS?
 
Does anybody know if we can flash diz ROM onto zvb version... nd im on the GE rom too. PG... can you reply with any good news or anybody...
 
i rooted and installed ginger esteem 2. rom isntalls and when i reboot the phone is stuck at boot screen. and just keep rebooting. please help. thanks.
