Root [ROM] HTCCM10 build 20130102 *Touch Screen Addon

Went to set up my own build environment, then see its only talking for use with Lucid Lynx, while I'm on Precise Pangolin. Oh well.
Switched over from Pacman as that rom while awesome, was giving me issues. Would love a virgin mobile intended AOKP.

Is the zip named like this PG86IMG it has to be named like that or it won't recognize it.

That's all i could think of :o

Just wanted to say I've been using this rom for a couple hours now and ran into a few issues. Taking a picture takes about 3 seconds for it to actually take. Then by that time the picture is all blurred. And trying to take a couple pictures in a row caused a reboot.

I have had no issues at all. Here is my setup

ENG Hboot 1.04
PRI 2.17.651
Radio 0.97.10.0530
Recovery - EXT4 v1.0.0.5 RC8 (Paid Version)

When I loaded the ROM I did a "Format all partitions (except sdcard)" installed ROM and then gapps. I have had now issues with the camera at all and have been running it since I released the ROM.

Flashed it and it works great. Thanks G60 for your hard work and maybe you should start adding tweaks like the xloud engine, removing 4g throttling, etc. :D

I'll be testing it out and report back for the battery life.

Also any kernels that work with this rom, like the butter toast kernel?

Jmz and mac kernel both break wifi.

Right now I am focused on stability. The methodology for my ROM's has always been to try and make the most solid, bloat free ROM possible and leave it up to you guys to hack kernel, tweaks, etc. If something is needed by all means I will add it in, but until I hear of the golden fix of 5000Mhz and 12 day battery life I usually stay on my path

Reinstalled today and MMS is working now. My only pet peeve is the virgin mobile logo on the lock screen. Anyway to just have this blank? Otherwise great job, thanks!

I read back a few posts, will try it out

Report: Netflix locking up phone hard after 8-10 minutes.

Request: port some if not all of the best features of the MAC kernel ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1866375 )

Note if you install the MAC kernel on CM10 then you lose WiFi ( not sure why ) and maybe other radios.

The kernel is highly optimized, should increase phone efficiency/speed by 20-50%
Is this something I can assist with?

You're probably loosing WiFi and other radios because you're flashing the sense version of the MAC Kernel. You probably want the other one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1767568

Love the work you're doing with this. How is this going to compete now that Gangnam over at XDA is doing vm support?

Been using this for the past two hours..restarted twice already. Just getting settled probably.

Battery life is amazing. On another note, I'm running buttered toast overclocked to 1.7, it's great.

Added this to the ATR Guide. I still need to flash this sometime soon...after work, maybe!

Just a heads up, this rom doesn't seem to play well with MAC kernel. Gotten a few reboots, as well as phone just not waking up after screeen off.
Also just noticed, it seems like WiFi doesn't want to turn on.

This ROM is based on Gangnam source code. The only things I have changed from the source is I used our voicemail-conf from stock, added in our new fixed apns-xml, edited the device files to copy in the fixed MMS.apk, changed the naming to Virgin Mobile, along with Evo V 4G for bluetooth. Also I removed cm explorer, Apollo, cm updates, cm wallpapers, terminal, cm's Mms, and removed extra sounds based on Gingerbread that cm has left in since cm7.

I honestly can not compete with Gangnam Style as dastin1015 has taken agrabens work to the next level, as stated in the OP. The only reason for building this ROM was because at the time no one was supporting VM Evo. I know a lot of users have asked to change the lock screen from Virgin Mobile to X. Personally I love Virgin Mobile its why I stay on their service, its affordable, the phones are reasonably priced considering I am not locked in to a 2 year contract. So as dastin1015 continues to add support for VM you will probably see me stop releasing ROM's.

The only reason I have ever released my work is because the vendor failed to, I am not in the business of profit or competition. Anyone that knows me from the Triumph forums can attest to that. Its all about community, and if some one else is putting out solid work for the community then there is no reason for my work specially if its basically the same thing.

You can still dev. ;) why not play with a sense ROM and see what you can bring to the table? I know Id be curious to see that, and so would others

I will state this right now for the record I can not stand Sense it drives me batty! Give me the look and feel of AOSP and I am a happy camper. The only thing I may work on in the future is Ubuntu for Mobile when they release the source unless some one beats me to the punch. I am perfectly happy hanging up the dev hat
