Root [ROM] HTCCM10 build 20130102 *Touch Screen Addon

TOUCH SCREEN ADDON:
Touch Screen
MD5: 31852140834d22d964b794d04cdb809e

So I added a fix to the touch screen. I find this highly funny as this is the same fix Whyzor used on the Motorola Triumph LOL. But the movement between screens when browsing through apps no longer sucks :D This should work on all ROM's I would imagine.

what exactly does this fix? I've never noticed a problem with the touch screen...

Fire up apps, and scroll all way right and then scroll all the way left you will see it hang, or lag out, or miss your touch. This helps solve that.

I have not been able to replicate that issue. Is it possible that the buttered toast kernel fixes this?

It's possible this is kernel related, as I am not sure what buttered toast is using for input devices in the kernel (haven't looked that far)

Wow that is hilarious! I was kidding when I suggested Whyzor's fix! Great job as always g60

I know I didn't really think it would work either, but after digging into the driver I found that it was using a Tuna driver which is a Galaxy Nexus. So I figured why not try Whyzor's driver and see what happens. It even seems more responsive for typing as well as I have had less mistakes so I guess it's the Motorola Triumph FTW :D:D:D

I just installed this version from the midnight rom 1.3.9. Upon doing some checking, I am getting that dreaded text message saying that I have a voicemail. It gives me a number to call, 408-970-0000. I call this number and its always busy. When I have downloaded any cm10 rom in the past, I have always gotten this text message. Is there anyway to stop this message from appearing?? Since there was no was to access my voicemail when I got a message, I went back to midnight rom and backed up that voicemail app via titaminum backup, then went back to this rom and restored it. TB gave me a warning saying this is a system app. I installed it and that doesnt work either. How can I retrieve my messages??All I want is to be able to retrieve my messages like on midnights rom without that awful text. I have always like the cm 10 roms but ever since I got the evo v this I have been having problems with this on cm 10. Can anyone offer any help?? I am desperate.

I downloaded and installed this vvm, because I had no voicemail notification. Now, when I call from a different phone, it doesn't even ring now. When I open the voice mail app, it says verifying your account, and then it keeps saying error, that it timed out. Can anyone please help with this??

It keeps saying account verification error. I have tried this over 10 times and I get the same results.

It currently does not work with cm10

Thanks but unfortunately this ROM is too unstable to be of use. It was working great last night, but I turned it on today and its going crazy. Claiming I have no internal storage space left (even though I only used like 2xxMB for apps) and everything is crashing like crazy. Plus, its charging the battery extremely slowly (much slower than usual). I followed the instructions, installed the 1.04 BOOT and wiped everything before restore. Gonna try the PA ROM. I'll check back in the future.

It's amazing how this ROM functions so differently from one phone to another. Personally this has been the most stable CM I have used, of course I have only used the Triumph and the Evo. There are some bugs for sure but I haven't seen anything like that. I wonder what a logcat would look like, if your having a rogue app issue, corrupt data on the SD Card, or something else causing issues. I would suspect if you are having these types of issues, you may very well have the same problems with PA or any other ROM. Hope PA works out and it's really just some CM issue :thumb:

Try a re download. Wipe everything. Then reflash. Let it boot up..... Then go back into recovery and install gapps..... Boot up and report back.

Plus, I believe it's best to let the phone sit for about 10 minutes after flashing a new ROM to get settled in before playing around with it. That's what I do at least.

I'm going to give the ROM one more try, I really like it, it appears to be the best out of all the ROM's I've tried. Maybe I just got a bad install or something? Although it's weird because it was literally PERFECT last night, other than the minor lag which I mentioned above. I've been reading through all the posts and no one else seems to have had any issues like mine.

The space issue is not on the SD card, its the internal space, the SD card is working properly. According to the storage screen, I used a total of 259MB of internal storage space on Apps, yet I only have 1MB left? It's weird. Still says total space is 1.15GB. 1.15GB minus 259MB does not equal 1MB! And I got an notification that wont go away that says "Storage Space Running Out: Some system functions may not work". So I'm guessing this may be responsible for the crashing I'm experiencing.

I appreciate your work, I just need to have a stable phone. Hoping this restore will fix all issues.

By the way: When I installed the ROM, I installed them both at the same time. I flashed the ROM then the GAPPS without rebooting first. I wonder if this could have caused the issues.

I am using 4ext so not sure what other recoveries look like but here is my install method.

Download ROM, download gapps. Boot into recovery, format all partitions except SDcard. Install ROM and gapps reboot. Its been perfect minus the small issues the ROM currently has. Also verify the MD5 to make sure your download is not corrupt. If you do all that and still having issues, I would recommend backing up your SD and format it and then restore SD and try to flash again. Hope that works for you!

Edit: Trust me I know about stability as I am using this phone for work and company email.

I am going to try that, although I'm using the TWRP recovery. I wonder if this could be responsible for my issues. Maybe I should install 4EXT first.

I used TWRP 1, wiped everything, wiped dalvik, flashed rom, then flashed google apps.

I had issued with TWRP 2. Did the same thing where it was stable, then freaked out

g60 his needs something called( wimax-logs+i+delete.zip) but I can't find the link. Fixed me right up. I think it was on XDA. I'll keep looking.
I found the zip on my desktop but I don't no how to get it to you?

If it says your out of internal storage it's.most likely due to wimax logs. Open root explorer..data..wimax..logs , select all and delete

That was the problem, phone is working properly now! 4038 files were in that folder, took up over a gig of space. But how do I keep these logs from coming back? I hope I don't have to do this every 6 hours?
