Root [ROM][July14] Icy Fusion V5.0 | Smooth | Tweaked | Themed | Battery

got errors with aokp linaro builds so now i switched over to cm-10.1 and see how thay goes now since cm10.1 finally has PIE and other cool features now
 
Build almost finished but has another dumb error, uggghh linaro is difficult well at least for me it is, making a new update for this ROM do you guys want an audio mod in it? Or just themeing
 
Loving the ROM and I really appreciate your contributions to the Spec comm.

I have 1 issue. Clean 4.0 install. Solid data til an hour or so later when it dropped and I have searched the thread, read til' my eyes are bleeding and cant find a fix. Please help...
 
yeah I have noticed it also could be ortriggers kernel but I just reboot and it seems to fix it I'll look into it some more tonight

The kernel shouldn't cause issues with the data connection. The only things I changed in the ICS kernel are CPU OC and voltage, GPU OC, and a tweak to the brightness settings. I suppose it could be in the ramdisk...

If you want to test that, remove my kernel from your rom, unpack the boot.img from my kernel then use TDM's updater with the zImage and flash over the stock kernel.
 
Hello. I tried to flash this rom following the directions as stated. CWM worked properly and flashed the ROM. After boot, I saw the X and that was it. The device has waited at that part for over 30 minutes. What can I do to fix it?

This ROM seems to have the most stable function of things like:

Stable data
Aspect ratio correction
Other things that that get us by until LG decides to provide the REAL source code for the kernel.

I made an account just so you know I run this ROM. Been lurking the forums ever since the spectrum came out....Absolutely love the ROM great work.

Only problem I have is Bluetooth turns on but doesn't find any Bluetooth device I throw at it. May be just me but either way can't wait for the new release!
 
yeah any ics rom you have will have bluetooth broken, bluetooth only works on the JB roms (cm10.1, aokp, or pacman rom) and its a little buggy on those roms but its still functional
 
ok since now i can actually build aokp and cm roms without error now, which one would you guys like to see me build some nightlies with optimizations? or pacman rom?
 
im also building my own kernel with it, added some governers, like: smartassv2 and lulzactive, added SIO scheduler also, and will add cpu OC and UV in the future, and add user gpu OC and more governers and i/o schedulers

could you add interactive X as well. After reading up on governors thats the one that sounded the most desirable to me.
