Root [ROM] KANAIDA - Shang Tsung 1 (ICS 4.0.4)

This is an ALPHA release, for testing only. It's not yet for general consumption until a few brave souls do some testing:

KANAIDA - SHANG TSUNG 1

What does that mean?
-Even i'm not sure lol, I got all the code to compile, and i'm pretty sure it's packed into the zip correctly. Please make a backup with ClockworkMod/Rom Manager before you do ANYTHING.

Please take note of what works and what doesn't work. I'm not even 100% it will boot but lets cross our fingers :)

Rom Details:
Original Rom: LG Viper 840 ICS LS840ZVG, ported over to the connect
ICS 4.0.4
Deodexed, Zipaligned, built in root and SuperSU


If anyone wants to support the cause please buy the MK9 Dashboard app from the market :) it would really help me get it off it's feet. It's got < 10 downloads so far lol... takes a bit to get the ball rollin'. I'm well into getting into the top 100 in MK9 :boxing:


Results:
failed during install... i was just leavin a post of the error code but it goes : mount() expects 4 args. got 3 E:Error in /sdcard/kanaida_shangtsung_1.zip (status 7) Installation aborted.

Backing up as we speak and giving it a whirl Kanaida! Will do my best to give a full run down of what I find!
 
hmm... gives me an error on install attempt via CWM - gets to installing update and says:

mount() expects 4 args. got 3
E:Error in /sdcard/kanaida_shangtsung_1.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted.

and just joined the IRC too :)
 
Yea having status 7 error installation aborted to bad I can't test it out well I'll just wait more till this issue is fixed
 
Hey guys, if you look he updated his OP after our first test run and we found the status 7. The next batch didnt get past boot so he was gonna do a few ADB logs and get back to it in the AM. Sit tight, he's workin his tail off for us. :)

Omg your awesome for doing this Kanaidan!!! I remember you from my Samsung Galaxy Indulge days, and when I saw your other thread for on this sub forum I let out a squee of excitment.

I am grateful for your work on this, weither or not this will work or not in the long run. I am quite sure you will come through though.

As a token of gratitude, I WILL buy your app at full price even though I dont play Mortal Kombat like that. On top of that I will try out the app and leave a descriptive 5 star review of your app as well!

No worries bro get ur rest in. i was wondering if u had the build.props form both the viper and lucid ics builds so i might have a look c at them and c if i can implentment them into ur build to c if i can help u out getting this to boot past the lg logo if that is what the prob. is, but no worries if u cant or dont think that is the issue :-) get ur sexxxy time in bro u deserve it
 
Just had a nerd-gasm! Please I hope this works!

I just bought myself an LG Viper batter from ebay for $4 since its 1900mah compared to the 1500 that comes with the Connect just to give myself some extra juice, can't wait!!! WOOHOOO!!!
