Root [Rom/Kernel]AWEsome Rom[V1.6]

Ok I downloaded xposed installer then within that app i clicked on downloads I found hktheme manager I downloaded hktheme manager from there I went to the play store and downloaded a cm theme called angel then I open hktheme manager and search my system and the angel theme popped up and im using that theme for now had no trouble using that theme you have to be rooted to use both xposed installer and hktheme manager
 
So just bought KitKat Launcher Prime and...just wow! So light on resources and KK Launcher free is super feature rich. Seriously considering replacing Apex with it.
If you havent tried it yet I absolutely recommend it. Check it out for yourself, its pretty great
 
Well I tryed the kk launcher.have to say its quite innovative . I usually use ads launcher ex , but I think I'll go with the kk launcher for a bit >_<
 
Has anyone had any luck getting the visual voicemail to work? I tried dropping vtt-sprint.apk into system/app and changing the permissions, however once the voicemail app opens it cannot register my phone or whatever.

Mainly I'm just looking for the voicemail notification to work again. Otherwise, this ROM is :thumb::thumb:

I'm still hunting down the cause of the Prl/Profile update issue, related to your VVM problem. It apparently has nothing to do with FOTAKill, as I'm currently using the stock rom with it installed and they work fine. Ive got to basically figure out which (hopefully single) app is causing this problem. Once I do, everything will be golden from PRL/Profile updates to activation (if for whatever reason your dumb enough to ##RTN# like I was)
Yeah, dont do that on this rom til I fix it btw (not that you should EVER need to) >_<
Also getting closer to changing the settings menu around. Still a ways off from that, so a few iterations down the line.
Speaking of which, I will soon be releasing V1.1 that I will hopefully have fixed the updates, add KK Launcher instead (because its slick and we want us some KitKat love), will have Xposed Framework (as a phase, I'll be adding some features down the line that will make it redundant) and Titanium Backup. Basically feature updates, so nothing too exciting. I'm still learning folks, so bare with me.
Am very glad to see the responses as positive as they are so far. Thanks for the support guys, I really appreciate it ^_^

Yeah, I just replace Apex with KK Launcher Prime... seems like the best launcher so far!

I really appreciate your work though... you have done a tremendous job so far! Keep up the great work!
 
Ah...well there goes that idea.
Yes noticing many reports on that in the forums. Apparently it eats battery life for breakfast lunch and dinner. So I'll exclude it from 1.1
 
OK I downloaded the awesome rom, but there are none of the zip files in the rar file. Where are the cwm.zip, ockernel.zip, and superuser.zip?

You just flash the awesomeromv1.zip like you did with the superuser.
Again dude, not trying to be snotty but please at least READ the OP. Instructions are at the bottom.
I'm very tolerant of people not being aware of some things, but completely ignoring that there are very clear and obvious instructions is quite obnoxious.
For instance: see every comment on this video about if it unlocks the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx XT912 for GSM. I clearly stated multiple times in the video that it does not. Ive written it in the description, the comments MANY times and even the title says Razr M/Maxx HD (XT907/XT926)
*Sigh* sometimes it amazes me...

Well flash it and see if it affects you. Can't really tell until you do.
Also no bootloops with this kernel, just random reboots. Depends if your phone wants to be nice with it. We have a new one coming. For now lower your cpu speed in Android Tuner Free. Instructions for THAT are in a post on the first page

anything above stock 1.18ghz has random reboot for now, you may also have a reboot before android tuner sets clock. this is a relatively new device time is your friend:D
