Root [ROM/Kernel] Stock++

I tried that one, the free version uses the recovery exploit to delete apps and it never rebooted my phone like it was supposed to, so I found a different app called NoBloat Free that was uber easy to delete anything. Long story short, I figured it out, lol :)
 
Mount the system, then flash Monster themes. I'm using the Monster 4 theme. Has anyone tried formating to EXT4? Or doing a factory reset? Its says failed to makeExt4 on /dev

I'm guessing that's why my quadrant scores are so low.

did yours work good? because mine is like half themed, when my phone booted up the only difference was the battery :( i did what retro said to mount system but the launcher looks the same with the green phone and green earth

About half themed is all I could manage as well.
 
I didn't want to flash the rom just the theme but I'll do that... Btw it works right?? I can flash monster 4 on this cwm with the overclock?

Yes u can flash this over cwm oc beta 1 kernel and stock++

well i read on page 1 of this thread theisonews did it, but said he gets the 492 error from market, and on page 2 SamsungAdmire got the same problem only he flashed the Stock++ so you might want to ask theisonews if his phone is working fine with it. i want to do it too.

Yeah I had error 492. Then I wiped all and reflashed and its 99% percent working..

Bugs I noticed. Low benchmark score 800 and under . On cm 7.2 I was getting 1600.

Other bug. When I charge my phone the usb storage notification appears.

Im using a flicr upload app and a screenshot app. I dont know which one to blame for these half ass screen shots.

Also I removed the stock launcher and added go launcher witb ics theme.

Also, another problem I have is that a triangle keeps popping up saying I'm data roaming?! I restart my phone it goes away for 15 minutes but then switches right back.

before you flash anything...check if you have system/data/cache/sd all mounted, unless told otherwise in op's instructions
i had this problem with cm7 and saw that sometimes data and cache and sd werent mounted for whatever reason
before you flash gapps tho i think you have to unmount system, butim not sure i never had issues with market.
did you have cm7 beta on your phone also?
