Root [ROM] Leaked Spectrum ICS 7v05 test ROM CDMA

Goodlooks Mikomed bro.. Not complaining about any additions to the list of ICS/JB roms on this phone but yo mind explanationizing the distro more in depth? Maybe a list of specific known bugs or issues.. I am thinking of flashing this thing but still not positive what it is aside from leaked V7/05 and TDM kernel..

Appreciate you takin the time yo just do a favor if you can and explane some..

I'm on it right now, after a bit of running it the charger starts to work and it starts to speed up. This I going to be my daily for now. Showed my wife and she was happy :)

Have you had the issues that others are having or is it stable for you?

Blaze if you read the OP your answers are there.

There a few bugs. On the original v5 .tot upgrade from leak I didn't have any of these issues. But it was very hard to learn how to get it to upgrade without bricking my Spectrum like others did.

Most likely new radio, firmware, and originals kernels needed.

I work all day today so I have no more time to test more. Any dev help.appreciated.

Seems stable only true problems for me are mms and it tends to over heat.. Other than that I love it!. :-)

Note to everyone: it will act very dumb when flashed in the first hour, give it some time! It's worth it :-)

just wondering if anybodys lockscreen and the dropdown statusbar says T-CDMA 64 instead of Verizon Wireless. is it because its a gb radio???

Yes Phillip I'm seeing that as well. Everything seems to be running fine for me so far in the 30 minutes I've been running it.

So after more use I've had no issues with 4g data dropping, am able to receive texts and make calls, browser works fine. It did take at least 5 minutes to scan my sd card but besides that it seems really functional.

Yeah scanning is fast at times then it takes forever lol

for about 8 hours and it is surprisingly stable. Only one random reboot after about three hours. I restored a bunch of my previous apps installed under GB and they seem to run fine.

Issues I've had:

  • Bluetooth doesn't seem to work right or at least my Plantronics 925 headset won't pair.
  • Virtually no 4G, worked at first but now all I get is 3G.

Nothing else really that I have discovered (so far). I like it.

You blame lg a lot lol
haha.. well... yeah.. but its all within reason..
i know most android devices have bugs.. and updates are released to fix them... but v6 has been the newest avaliable for way too long... i blame lg for the problems.. and verizon for not updating us or giving any kind of info on the update

i also blame myself for choosing the spectrum... but our amazing devs are starting to make me feel like less of a dumbass for my choice

I wouldn't really blame lg to be honest. It all depends on how fast we get it booted. I mean I could kiss lg on the for head for giving me this awesome phone for 50$. The problems that we have in the leka are mainly due to kernel since the devs are having trouble with that.. I'm just glad we got a cwm flashable leak.. Pretty cool Imo.. :-) on another note be glad lg sold this phone for dirt cheap HTC is expensive and nothing really to them. I've had 2 and there really much to them. Heck they sell their htc hero on sprint for 20$ USED that blows my mind. It can hardly handle 2.1 android yet there is a awesome Dev I know working over there that got jb working pretty good on it :-) the hardware on the spectrum is super good and no your not dumb for choosing this phone your rather smart because the rest of the phone out there have the same specs and are priced about 2 to 3 times the price... That's what's dumb. :-) ill never get anything but LG again. :-)

So even though this is the leaked version I would flash this just like any other rom that came out like BO3 or BP without bricking the phone?

Not all of got our phone for dirt cheap. This phone was initially sold for $200. Some of us have had it since January.

True but the spectrum was the top of the line now wasn't it? Dual core 1.5 ghz and what not. My point being is this phone out ranks some the newer phones and it's still being sold.. Just goes to show. The lg Optimus is free on sprint and still being sold, wanna know why? Cause it has pretty much the best signal out of all their phones. I've had it for a short period of time. The thing was awesome. Loved it! :-)

Quadrant scores are crazy good!! I beats the nexus lol
