Root [ROM]Liquid Gingerbread v2.6 Release

So far absolutely no complaints on this Rom. Seems that all the hype is well deserved. Very smooth. Battery appears to be holding up nicely as well.
I think I may have found a new favorite. Sorry ApeX!!!

^ rather heavy use. 3.5hrs of screen on time, ~45m talking, ~1.5hrs playing music, ~30m of navigation

This is perfect, thank you very much!

Just out of curiosity, why is it necessary to SBF back to 340? Isn't that Froyo, and isn't Liquid a GB-based ROM?

Just do it - it's great. Seriously. I've literally flashed every single 2nd INIT rom out there and there's no comparison.

Yeah, think I'm gonna give it a shot now.

I haven't kept up with this, so, do I have to flash any fix files? Will the one I used for CM7 work?

It works as it should, right out of the box. You don't have to do a thing. Just wipe data, cache, davlik cache - flash it - sign in - put the phone down and it will reinstall all of your apps for you as well (at least it did for me)

Cool, thanks. I'll start installing it now then.

Sure hope some man. Im on cm7 at the moment but plan to come back to Liquid at some point.

Thanks!

Things look good on the GB kernel front as RevNumbers has a CM7 build up that's booting off of it with the only things not working being camera/camcorder and DSP manager f/c's.

Just saw that on the Rootz. Going to see what I gotta do to get it up and running on my phone!

Installed this rom last night and everthing seemed to work fine. I woke up this morning and had nothing but a black screen. no access to any apps. The only way i can access the phone app is if someone calls me. i can't revert to a back up because i can't access rom manager.

HELP!!

If you take the plunge let us know how things are (battery life, etc) on the GB side of the kernel!

Im going to take the plunge! I am SBF'ing right now. Then I gotta read up on how to get to .602 so I can check this new GB version out. ;)

Pull the battery for a minute or two. The phone should boot into recovery me thinks. If not, may have to sbf, unless someone else had an idea.

1) How can I get LGB ROM to display dialer in a usable layout when Docked??? The dial-pad digits are covered by the other functions(END, Mute, etc.) no matter what I do to stop the rotation feature or use another dialer from the Market...it always does this in the Car/Desk Docks. I tried the Settings(Liquid and other) and no way to correct yet. I thought another dialer App might do it but not yet. When using another App & call connected it reverts from the App dialer to the "stock" dialer rotated with digits covered.

2) I cannot get the notification sound setting to stick when I change it after I plug into the Desk Dock, It ALWAYS reverts to the Original ROM ringtone that was the default from the ROM flashing. I change the Notification Ringtone in the morning after unplugging from Desk Dock('cause it reverted back to ROM original when flashed) and when I plug back into the Deck Dock at night, it mysteriously reverts back. What can be done?

These both have happened in 2.4 and 2.6 ROM's for me and I need a little help here...Thanks

I was having issues with the notification sound sticking too. What I did was modify the build.prop to change the default notification and ringtone to the ones that I like, after that it worked like I wanted it to :D

This is a problem with all of the 2nd-init and AOSP ROMS. If anyone has a fix or a 2nd-init ROM that this is fixed in, let me know.
