Root ROM Manager Questions

I have had ROM Manager installed on my DX for quite a long time, but rarely use it so I have some questions.

First, is there really any difference between the paid and free versions right now? I recently donated through the market, but I see no difference between the two. Under the DX Clockwork Mod Recovery there is "Forkup" listed under the Premium ROMS, but nothing appears when I click on it. Under the new DX (2nd init) Clockwork Mod Recovery, there are not Premium ROMs listed.

Also, there are no ROMs listed under the "Stock Images" ROM list. Everyone keeps talking about the all-in-one 596 ROM that allows you to go from any ROM back to 596 without any hassle. I cannot find that ROM anywhere.

Thanks for answering the dumb question. I am just a little disappointed after purchasing the app and not seeing anything different. I don't mind helping contribute to the developers, but I was expecting more access at the same time.

The 596 ROM is available through the Team Black Hat app which is no longer in the market but can be found online.

with premium it all depends on whats out for your phone. As the DX just got added, not much will be avail side what we already know about.

I cant get my license to take so lol

Its best to use bootstrap (for now) to access Clockwork. Obviously on CM7 use the built in recovery (same version). We will be seeing nightlies through RM soon once the recovery is updated for the X

Did you try:

Settings... manage applications...
Uninstall RM.
Find Market and clear data, clear cache, uninstall updates.
Open Market, find RM free and install. See if it works ok, then install paid version from Market.

I have a Sony Xperia S it has been rooted and verified, I also downloaded ROM Manager Premium but when I open it to download ROMS there aren't any? Is this because there are none available or is it ROM Manager not working, despite have the Premium edition it doesnt say Premium anywhre which I have seen in other screeenshots....

This is the DroidX forum.

Are you asking about roms for the Xperia (which you can find here: Sony Xperia S)? You should research rom availability before buying the app. :D
