That is a known problem with all the roms. Apparently some way the market reads the 4g.

So I just flashed this ROM with S-ON and I didn't use 4EXT or flash boot.img after the ROM, and it seems to be working fine. What's going to be different about my phone compared to if I had used 4EXT or flashed the boot.img file?

What did you use to flash?

I like 4ext better. Some people say that they have problems flashing with twrp 1.1.1

Hmm..guess I was one of the lucky ones. :p

I'm not getting anywhere near 4300 on quad standard, but it's about 3800 which isn't bad. Using the standard 1.5 Ghz OC.

I'm not sure what I think of Sense yet. This is my first day running an HTC phone. I like the look of stock ICS more. Sense looks a little too cartoony for me. But the lockscreen, and launcher is very nice. No need for GO SMS or Go Launcher anymore.

You'll want Go SMS once you start getting nagged like hell with Radio Interface Resource Shortage errors with the stock messaging, let me tell you. Don't worry I'm sure you'll see them soon enough. This phone has a major radio firmware bug in it currrently. And I too hate Sense so much...AOSP is way way better. CM9 is coming says some people on the forum, we just need to find a dev to do it for us.

I just realized why I was able to use TWRP without problems by reading around a little more. I went into recovery by using fastboot. I guess if you do that, you can flash no problem with S-ON.

Correct. I'm not sure why people recommend doing fastboot flash boot boot.img when they could just get into recovery and allow the recovery access to the boot partition by using the command fastboot boot recovery.img then flashing as if they had S-OFF. However, 4EXT, once installed, effectively removes the need for a computer altogether since it flashes boot images with S-ON in a special way without needing to boot it from fastboot.

That's really strange, I never got that. What do you mean? I suppose you could always make a backup of your settings before you restart the phone just in case

Could you release the next one with Vsync turned on? The tearing drives me nuts. I know how to shut it off by modifying the file but the setting doesn't seem to stick on reboot

You could reflash the newest kernel update and then via aroma installer u can choose whatever settings you want

You can turn v sync on during install of the anthrax kernel installer.

New version is uploading atm. I pretty much think most, if not all, the bugs are worked out.

-Lowered default max clock to 1.35 down from 1.566 to help people who's phones are getting either too hot, or won't boot
-Upgraded kernel to 2.7.6b
-Updated init.qcom.post_boot.sh scripts

And well...that's it lol

It runs a little hotter because it's Overclocked a bit by default. It's okay for it to get a little warm, but you can easily tweak it using no frills cpu, which is included

Everything I set my cpu to 1000 MHz, is doesn't seem to stick after the phone's put to sleep. Is there something I'm overlooking that is causing this action to be undone? Has anyone else seen this issue?

Your fix worked the first time. Then I sent an MMS message, and it started doing the same thing. So I tried your fix again, and it kept me from getting the error while sending messages. It's inconsistent though.

Whether I'm using Go SMS or not doesn't seem to matter either. What a bunch of crap.

I wonder if manually downgrading to an earlier PRL, like 61007 or something would work. I guess some people have tried getting VM to reprogram their phone. I might try that when I have the time.
