I wonder if manually downgrading to an earlier PRL, like 61007 or something would work. I guess some people have tried getting VM to reprogram their phone. I might try that when I have the time.

I'm on JMZ's ROM and I'm great right now even with WiFi on. I get the error sometimes but it goes away quickly after one occurrence. The ROM does matter it seems, and any RIL tweaks in the build.prop completely ruin my ability to text reliably. That "fix" doesn't really work too well, but it's the best we've found yet. Really the thread is now dedicated to bugging HTC as much as possible about releasing an actual software update.

Can't seem to download it through goo manager. Just sits there for a bit then closes. First time I have had that problem.
 
Can someone please at least acknowledge that they're not having the issue I'm facing, so I know I'm not just crazy here....

Not at all. All i did was try to change the cpu-clock speed, but it doesn't stay where I set it. It always reverts back to the default settings for the cpu. Is there a way I can change the default other than downloading an app like setcpu or nofrills?

I tried the original one that came with the beta rom anthrax 2.7.5, but that's when I noticed the problem. Then I've tried flashing the other more updated anthrax kernel, and I still get the same problem.

I had the same issue when I flashed UltraMatrix ROM. I feel like there's something that overrides the cpu setting I set it at. It always reverts back after waking up the phone.
 
Could just be your phone. I'm running at 1.5gHz and don't have a heat issue. Only time I did was when I was at work and the environment around me was hot. I'm at home now and it's perfectly fine.

I don't have a heat issue really. It's the fact that if I run it at 1.0 gHz, it will only stay until I put the phone to sleep. Once I unlock the phone to check the cpu, it runs up to 1.5 again. Maybe its my phone, but everything else has been running fine. I figured I'd overlooked something in the settings, but I've gone over each step carefully.:confused:

what are you using for overclocking? setcpu 3.0.5 does that to me
 
Is it me or does the battery die fast on here now? I used a stock rom and got a whole day in but I can't get good battery life with this rom I have the data off and I dont have alot of task open so what gives? the brightness not even bright.

Make sure you let the battery drain all the way and then charge back up fully at least once every time you change ROMs to calibrate the battery sensing.

I think your problem is that you are trying to use an app to make changes. You should go to the anthrax development thread and read up on this kernel. It says not to use an app. To change settings edit the post boot file.
 
Is there any way to customize the overscroll color in Leedroid Tweaks?

Neither cyan or blue really match the AOSP theme I'm using. The blue one comes close but it gets cut off too early.

I love this ROM though. Out of all the ones I've tried it's definitely the fastest and most stable.

I have it set at low brightness, and it's clocked at 1000 on lagfree governor but I still get Bad battery life compared to the stock rom. I guess what I'm trying to say is that even with all the things turned off I still get bad battery life
