Over clocked 2.9.1a

xthedakmanx - can i make a request?

can you fork your build into 2 versions:
a) Anthrax kernel for overclockers, powerusers etc (1.1.5 fork)
b) stock kernel for those of us who want all things to work but the rest of the supercharged rom goodness? (1.1.2 fork)

thanks

I agree. I'm more of a functinoality kind of guy.

When I flash this latest update, can I just wipe cache and davlik or do I have to do a factory reset and lose all my settings?? Thanks

Everything works on anthrax kernel. I honestly have seen nothing that isn't functioning.

Yes you can, but if you have problems, wipe everything.

3.0.1 is up

Update will come tomorrow probably

You should add the jb google voice search also. It's stable enough to use as a daily app and also enables offline speech to text.

It's designed to shut off one core (and both cores when screen is off) when the performance is not needed to save battery. If you flash chad's kernel that is..

Kind of new to this. I extracted the boot image because I am S-ON. It doesn't let me install due to .img file. How do load this rom correctly please? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have purchased 4-Ext also but every time I try to boot it always says Bad Message [Time.

What about the 4g doesn't it reboot when you turn on the 4g
Hm...I don't have 4G where I live sadly. What exactly is going on with it?

It kinda a pain in the butt to be honest when you aren't s-off, but it's pretty easy to do!

Evo 3D CDMA (Shooter) | Unlimited.IO

Just download the file at the bottom of the page where it says WINDOWS (For Virgin Mobile Evo V only) (I figure you're using windows for this) and follow the instructions on the page ^_^ Took me like 5 minutes honestly. Then you'll never have to worry about flashing anything other then just the ROM .zip again!

New version being uploaded right now. It'll be tomorrow before it's fully up though. But here's the changelog

List of kernel changes (directly from Anthrax Development | Android Development Community)

(anyone complains about freezes, lockups, or reboots on ANY clock speed over 1.56, i will cap these @ 1.56)
new acpuclock8x60.c file
anthrax custom cpu tag will reflect YOUR current max speed not the kernel's max speed in cpu identification
reduced l2 and fsb speed for anything over 1.8ghz (add stability)
increase GPU bus bandwidth (get rid of any bottleneck on the actual bus itself)
add lagfree (ziggy's version)
set lagfree as default governor

--> RLS 03.0.0-Qualcomm/CAF/GOOGLE Base - built using defaults from msm8660_defconfig
please note: a lot of the patches that I applied to the HTC base are actually part of this new base, so even though they are not listed below, they are there. Since I did not personally apply the patch, I did not list it below.

To turn on the 4g you have to reboot it and if you want to turn off the 4g you got to rebooted again its goes back and forward

Hm...I just tried it on the latest version. It seems to turn on, and off, but then doesn't wanna turn on for some reason.

Weird.

It'll probably be fixed in a future kernel release, but it isn't that big of a deal where I'd say it's a huge issue :P
