It'll probably be fixed in a future kernel release, but it isn't that big of a deal where I'd say it's a huge issue :P

Awesome and the new kernel already release and I'm still on 1.2 I was about to go on 1.5 but people was having issue on the WiMAX and other bugs too soo I didn't went to 1.5 maybe on your next release ill go
 
idk what you did but goomanager just gave me a notification for rom 115 (1.1.5) update (im still on an older version)

Yep. Got the goo manager notice of the update a little bit ago and downloading already! If I used the flashable version of google now on my old build should I uninstall it so that this version builds it cleanly? Mine has been wonky anyway..
 
damn man, your really quick with the updates. keep em coming lol. i think im on 1.1.4 and was about to upgrade to 1.1.5 but now im downloading 1.1.6 now, by the time im about to upgrade that i bet 1.1.7 is already out! lol.
 
Any word on if this will work with the downgraded Hboot? Don't want to switch and then not be able to go back to this if I am not happy with other roms (may not switch anyway as this has worked pretty well for me).
 
I'll wait for the next update to the ROM before flashing again.

Bet you cant keep up with the kernel!!! lol, Anthrax doesnt leave anything up for more than a day or two.
 
People seem to get different experiences with google now. Maybe it's best to just let them install individually.

You have to use the Voice Search for Google Now app for it to work


Try to tell it apricot. It has absolutely no idea what it is lol. I've gotten cape cod, a pretty hot, april scott, 8 prescott, the park hot, a prick ocz, paper cox..... It seems Google has some fixing to do on their voice recognition software xD


But yeah. Probably gonna take it out next release
 
I went with MeanROM initially because I actually like Sense on my phone although I dislike it on my tablet and it was the best looking choice for a ROM that didn't have Sense removed when I rooted my phone the day Virgin Mobile made it available.

At this point it seems like quite a bit more and current work is going on with this ROM so I'm thinking of switching. But I have a few questions. I actually like watching 3d movies on my phone and don't want to lose that. Similarly I've gotten used to a modified Rosie (the Sense launcher) with a 5x4 icon grid. Lastly I'm over 100 miles from the nearest 4G service so don't care about that just 3G data and sms/mms. Will these things all work on this ROM? Do I have to use the anthrax kernel?
 
So this is the workaround version of Google now and not the more full version they just got working? That explains it as I was trying to use it like the other version.

I watched my brother play with the voice recognition for a few minutes on his Galaxy S III and it got every single word he said correctly no matter how fast he talked. When it gets working right the voice recognition is spot on.

3D movies work, you can easily change rosie Tweaks using leedroid tweaks. 3g, sms, mms all works, and anthrax is auto installed with it. It actually works pretty much flawlessly ^_^

Been very happy with this rom. It runs and integrates great with anthrax. Have had no real issues with it and would only switch if more gets working on aokp most likely (just to not have to use sense).

My fav stock rom.
