Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Sense 1.5.4

That's good to hear. Let me try it.

Ahhh, Wasn't aware it required a computer. Thank you for the explanation.

You shouldn't need a computer, since supposdly 4EXT can flash boot images even with S-ON. But if you use TWRP 1.1.1 for a more traditional approach like me with S-ON, you have to do it the way I described.

This is just a minor suggestion, but include the original Evo 4g flashlight app.

Another nice addition would be the original HTC Evo 3D FM radio app. I like the flashlight app myself but since I've tracked it down already I can always add it myself.

If anyone is interested in changing the battery icon to the more traditional circle battery icon, I made one for MidnightRom 7/10/2012 (Version 1.0.1). Do not flash it if you're using a different version or a different ROM. I don't currently use this ROM so I can't test it, but I used the same process that I used when I made a couple for MeanROM and those worked perfectly. This should flash without any problems.

Just in case, make sure to make a backup before flashing.

All you have to do is:
1)Make a backup
2)Boot into recovery
3)Wipe cache and dalvik cache
4)Flash the zip

Its hard to see the numbers on the forum because the numbers are white. On the black status bar on your phone they will show up perfectly.

would make sense for it to work since its a newer version right haha?:)

Edit: i will tell you though since i just installed the rom

Edit2: yea it works

Im also having problems with the Stock music app it wont play any songs, on both versions of rom.

It doesn't have beats and some of the music won't play and I think it's not running the kernel or the tweak to make it fast cause I get 1972 on the bench mark

Hm okay, so is the music player not playing songs JUST while using the beat's audio? Try hitting menu, changing it to dolby, then playing a different song.
