yep me to, though i just flashed vaelpak's aosp gingerbread rom. it has some pretty cool features like a sbc kernel that is included. im still playing with it, but i may go back to this rom. i love sense 3.0 and the camera with panorama is pretty sweet.
 
Aamikam has been pretty laid back lately. I think he's working on a 3D Rom, my guess entirely.

Him and Kings are mad scientists. They are always working on something. Mik had a beta for MikfriedCM7 but he stopped working on it. I was going to try it but it hasn't been touched in a while
 
Hoping to see a update to this ROM soon, I check everyday and nothing. But I guess the long gap means he is getting allot done :)

He posted in the thread that he had finals and would be MIA for a week or so. I too thought the 3D carousel was too laggy so I went back to MikG 2.45 but I can't wait for the official release of this thing! It is a great ROM and since it is still only alpha the future is very bright.
 
I've tried to load the skins from MikG, no good. Sense 3.0 won't even register its been loaded. Doesn't show up in the skin menu. :(
Now I believe the lock ring mods will work. That's the same. I'll try it out tomorrow and post back.
 
Which of the two versions is the better to flash...the Alpha or the A1? And does the SD card need to be partitioned with this ROM?

a1 is the newer update so i would flash that. and no i am told you do not need to partition your card. it is easy to do though. but you need a higher class card (class 6 or higher) to do it.

My card is 32gb to begin with, so I think I am going to un-partition it and start fresh.

I just followed the guide, so what ever amount is says to partition is what I did. But I am going to go back to a fresh unpartitioned card and give A1 a try. I have been having a lot of lag lately with Synergy and my battery life has been sucking as well. What kernel do you suggest for A1?
 
well as far as kernels go there are only two. i'm on the golden monkey 1.1 and with setcpu settings of 245/1190 and a screen off profile of 128/245. im also using the v6 supercharger script as well. but YRMV.

Sounds good, I already have SetCPU so I will give golden monkey a try.
 
I have been searching around but can't seem to find anything...was there new version of this that came out last night?

i have not seen or heard anything about a new one. the one in the rom/kernel sticky works just fine. if you find it, can you post a link to it.

Will do if I find it, just saw a blurb about it on the Mik forum around page 28-29.

Does this need to be done with the current A1 as well as the Alpha?
