try wiping dalvik cache and cache and see if that helps.
 
I noticed last night my dialer used quite a bit of power. My battery drained like 40% overnight which never happens. I wiped dalvick and cache so hopefully the issue goes away but I wonder if I should maybe downgrade the pri. Maybe that will help with some of these issues. (I know it doesnt do much beyond helping with wake issues but who knows)

Do I just flash that in recovery like anything else or is there a different procedure?

However, I do seem to have a problem with the dialer.
23% of my battery with no calls being made.

I have wiped battery stats and will take a closer look at it today.
 
It showed up when I flashed Supersonic 3D...basically if my phone is sitting idle for too long the wifi stops (usually get the Cannot Connect notification in the bar) then when I wake the phone after 5-10 seconds it reconnects. The first few times you see it it kinda freaks you out ;)

In reality it doesnt do much beyond drain a bit of battery and if I wasnt looking for it half the time I wouldnt notice it. It is just an annoyance that no one seems to know how to fix. I should be able to in Spare Parts under the wifi wake tab but there is a bug of some sort and SP just reverts back to default. (even after wiping the cache and uninstall/reinstall)

My dialer used 45% last night :eek:

UOT kitchen works well. You can do this manually though. Check out a thread by The Impaler over at XDA. Called: the impalers guide to themeing.

Good info if you have the patience to learn. :)

Anyone else having this dialer problem using up battery? Was gonna flash this cause I like Mik3DB1 so much but I guess I will wait and see.

Made 1 short call ~3mins
CPU total 7s
Keep awake 49s

Data sent: 240.42kb
Data Recieved: 164.29kb

Only 14% battery use but the gf played angry birds for a few hours so display was at 54% and the AB application was at 9%

Wanted to flash this update but wanted to wait a few weeks after its release to see what everyone has to say about, any issues??:confused::confused:

It's a aamikam built rom;) More times than not, he will have some of the best roms out there and I would recommend updating the 3 month old rom up to the latest 10/31 release, but that's just me

Also there was an old guide on xda called "The Ultimate Guide To Themeing" but the guy who posted it got into a fight with the mods at xda (shocking right :rolleyes:) and pulled his links. If you Googles The Ultimate Guide To Themeing, you should be able to find the new listing somewhere. I haven't looked for it in quite a long time, sorry. :o

If I was going to flash a Sense 3.0 rom this is probably the first one I would turn to.
This hasn't been touched for a few months though.

If you don't like it Team Nocturnal is still developing their Sense 3.0 rom.
 
This is a very good Rom, its a MikROM. ;)

I will advise you to use a ram script with it. It'll lag a little without it, at least it did on my phone. V6 by zepplinrocks is what I use, but there are others that work just as well.

I ran the beta for quite a while, and the RC is even better. :)

DUDE,LOL i didnt understand half of that like i literally scratched my head like huh?but anywho i did flash the rom and i love it,however i was wondering if anyone knew what was going on with the camcorder is there a patch or fix to get 720p working?thats like the only thing i noticed i used that doesnt work



p.s thanks to ocnbreeze and rxpert(sry if i spelled those wrong) I AM ADDICTED TO ROMS,pure love at first flash,oh the power

Hmmm, I really can't remember if the 720p issue that sense 3.5 roms have is the same with this rom. I assume it is, I never really use the camcorder.

My daily driver has been the Beta 1 of this ROM since it came out. I have been happy with it and am not interested in RC1 right now. I do have a Titanium backup and a Nandroid backup. Somehow I lost my Camera and Camcorder. Can any tell me how to get them back? I tried Titanium backup to restore but got an application error..

well you can just wipe dalvik cache and cache and then re-flash your rom. it will not loose data but any customization you have done like mods or themes will get wiped. but you will get your camera and cancorder that came with the rom initially working again.

Will do that today. Probably should do a titanium backup first so i can reload some stuff. the themes isnt a big deal, but what are you meaning about customization?

or.....can is it possible to pull out the apk from the ROM and install them that way to avoid re-flashing?
 
I recently flashed this rom and I've been a big fan of MikG but I wanted to give this a try. Can anyone instruct me on how to add a secondary language on it like how it has it in MikG 3.11, I want to have Spanish as the secondary language used. I looked around on the mikmik website but couldn't find anything about adding language. I thought about asking here first since everyone is so helpful. Thanks.
 
Most dev's delete languages other tthan English to make room for bigger ports. That may be the case here.

The mikmik forums are very helpful as well and I'd go there for a definitive answer. Let us know what you find!
 
MikG 3.11 allows for a secondary dictionary so that you don't switch keyboards but it recognizes words in Spanish. I went to mik's website and I pretty much got the answer of installing the better keyboard app or wait for a script. I've restored to MikG since it does the job. I just wanted to try the 3D homescreen along with the carrousel windows.
 
First time I have experienced this last week one contact that i tried to send a text msg to encountered an error. When hitting send the messege just stays on the text field and will not send.

Here is what I do know:
I can send texts to other people no problems, I have deleted and reentered the contact info and still same issue, I can use another text program to send a messege and it will send. I can receive texts from the number that I cannot send it to. If I include a picture (MMS) it will go thru. I have removed the battery and rebooted, no change.

I am using this ROM for about a year and have had no issues untuil now.

Anyone have suggestions as to remedy this?
