If u don't mind, after a day or so, let me know how your battery life is with it, what speed and gov u were running, usage etc.

One of the things I really liked about the BAMF ROM'S was the nice speed and increased battery life. It seems the higher clocked kernels would slow down after a bit.

No problem. I HAVE added the extended life brick to the back of my new phone so........(got it free from Verizon)

I installed this ROM yesterday and charged my phone all night and when I woke up this morning I bump charged it before leaving for work.

I took the phone off charge at 5:20am. It is now 8:30am, 3 hours later, and my battery is at 64%. That sucks considering I have virtually done nothing on the phone this morning. I have had one phone call that lasted 5 minutes and I did one benchmark with Quadrant. While typing this it dropped to 63%. This puppy is dying quick. Now 62%. WTF!!

Addition: I should add that after fully charging and bump charging the phone I wiped the battery stats.

Question for you: In SETCPU, did you happen to change the screen off settings?? They were set pretty low but that is on smart ass. You may want to change that setting to on demand.
Also, go to your applications settings and see what's constantly running. If you have a lot of activity running, that will drain your battery pretty fast especially if the internet is running.

I haven't installed any apps except for K9 mail and I have it polling every hour. I have not installed SetCPU. This ROM is running as it was intended to right out of the box.

1.2 is first custom rom I've put on my TB.

Have to say that after almost a full days use I'm noticing the battery life is worse as well.

With the stock rom I did tweak a LOT of settings.

Going to go through this rom meticulously and see where the "problem" might be.

Battery isn't HORRIBLE... but just sitting around it seems to be going down much faster.

I have virtually no programs running either. Was 100% 1.5 hours ago. Its at 85% now. All I did was read some articles on feedr while I took a dump =)... thats about it.

I think my battery issue may be due ti an issue with my phone, and not actually an issue with this ROM.

I noticed my data connection dropping in and out before I flashed this ROM. I still notice it after flashing this ROM.

Since my phone seems to constantly search for a data connection it is probably beating the hell out of my battery.

I am un-rooting my phone as I type this and will be taking a trip to the VZW store in a bit to exchange this turd.

How long was your phone on the charger before you pulled it off? My phone can hit 100% charging over the course of the nignt. But when you pull it off the charger it will drop down to 94 or 95 with in the first minute or so. I think what the deal is that once the phone hits 100% charging, it stops charging an your running off battery even when plugged in. Thing i have done the last few days was to 1 get up about 1 hr before work and check my phone. I unplug the phone an wait a minute or 2 while im looking at the weather on my PC. Then when the phone drops to the real current charge percentage, i then reconnect to the electrical outlet an charge until leave time. By that time, i hit 100% an my battery seems to last longer than it did if i don't do this.

FYI I have a thread on this over at theMikMik.com • View topic - Battery Life as well.

Today so far it dropped to 64% in about 2.5 hours. I wasn't doing much with it either. IT was at 100% when I took it off... had charged for about 9 hours on an outlet last night so should have truly been charged 100%.

I did some more settings tweaks that will hopefully increase the life and have also done another reboot... not giving up yet but even in standby off in pocket it seemed to just be draining and I don't know why.

About phone / battery use tells me only the display is sucking power and I have that at 40% which I think is reasonable.

I had none of these issues with "stock" rom. Could go MORE than a day without charging if use was light. Obviously surfing on 4g will slam battery but on standby in pocket it seemed to last forever.

Remembering that I have the extended battery brick on my T-bolt,
I have had it off the charger since 9:00 and it is down to 79%. I was on the phone for over an hour and I played with it a little bit.
Still thrilled with it.

Apparently this ROM has been updated again. I can't wait to try this out simply for the new kernel!! OP has been updated.

Replaced my phone with 1.2 and it worked great. Now my phone is stuck and i can't get past the blue startup screen.
Reformated and everything.
Am I bricked???

FYI... after those tweaks and another reboot I've been watching the phone like a hawk and battery life seems to be much more reasonable!

1% usage in standby over 30 minutes. Ran some apps etc as well after that and wasn't watching the meter just drop like before... hopefully the phone is happy with its new rom now!

Yes! I can get to clockworkmod recovery but what should I try??

As long as you can get to recovery you are not bricked. You have several options at this point.

Option 1 is to restore your backup if you did one. If you didn't let this be a lesson, you should always do a backup prior to flashing anything in CWR.

Option 2 is if you have another ROM on your sdcard flash it to get you up and going.

Option 3 is if you have none of the above put a known working rom on your sdcard. You can mount the usb storage while in CWR.

Thank You!!!! I'm back up now. I was hitting everything and nothing was working. Always stuck on blue. It finally rebooted itself with the stock rom from day 1 after the root. I'm reinstalling 1.2 again as maybe something was corrupt.
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP, as Always!!!

Still having problems with the rom hanging up. It's a 1.8 but there may be issues with it past 1.5.
It keeps dumping my multicom widgets and restarting over and over..
Maybe something I am loading is interfering with the rom but I'm not sure. I use multicom so I can get a lot of apps on my main page.

After flashing this ROM, my app market initially had the dark theme, but after the following reboots, it when back to the stock look. How do I fix this?

Where's the link to the update patches to restore digital clock animation and such? I checked theMikmik.com under 1.3 forum but didn't see a link.

I must've missed it...

In the forum download thread (1rst post right underneath the v1.3 beta download in the fix/add on section)

Loving this ROM! I can't believe the battery life I'm getting and really like animations. Went a full day yesterday with moderate use (16 hours) and climbed in the bed with 43% battery.:D

Is this with the regular or extended battery? I'm guessing regular since you're praising the rom, but that's pretty damn good if you're using the stock battery...I'm surprised lol

This is my first rom 'Perfect Storm' v1.3. I like it a lot. I did notice my battery is depleting faster then before. I got the extended battery 2750 so, battery life is no longer an issue. Question...How do I get the updates to my phone? There is a 1.4 version out for the perfect storm. Is there an update process (file)? Or do I flash the newer version rom? Can someone please help me?

You have to flash v1.4 just like you did 1.3.
