just thot id add this... i had flashed drods 1.5 kernal and reading thru that thread,found someone else that had a reboot when trying to answer a phone call. since thats when my reboot happend also,i think its a pretty safe bet the kernel with the culprit.

so the only issue i had was the messaging app lag,wich was fixed with a quick reboot.
 
Flashed the update .last night and let me say this.. DAMN. Everything is sooooo smooth, as if everything is 60 fps smooth. All minor tweeks are beautiful as well. Fantastic job good sir, well done.
 
OK One question... can you flash this if you are not in firmware 1.12.605.9 but instead on Firmware .6? you cant be too careful... thanks... sorry for the noob question,,,

As long as you are rooted with a custom recovery like Clockwork Recovery, firmware is not important. This ROM is in update.zip format and can be flashed no matter what firmware your current ROM is using.

To install this newer version, do I first need to install the 1.0??
Also, when I finally download this,I trust I will lose all my info that I don't have stored on Titanium, is this correct??
I am using the
[KERNEL] [Sense] 1.76 Ghz OCUV/VDD sysfs/EXT4/BFQ/TUN/CIFS 01/04/2011 on the stock T-bolt rooted software. It seems to be working fine. Do you recommend this for "The Perfect Storm"?

No you do not need to install 1.0 to use this. And yes you need to wipe data and cache before installing. Make sure your Titanium backups are up to date. I'm using the kernel that comes stock with this but there is absolutely no reason the kernel you have listed will not work. Make sure you do a nandroid before flashing and you should be all set.

I was great until you said nandroid. What is that??
 
IDK if it is me, I was getting an FC every time I tried to access the phone. Not an Automatic FC, but when I hit the phone, it would hang for about 45 secs, then I would get the FC.

did a full wipe / clear cache / clear dalvik.

btw, if i were to go from V1.0 to 1.1 do I need to do a full wipe again?
 
chingy usually reccomends full wipes. i tried to flash a incredibly re-engineered update withouta data wipe on my incredible and wifi dint work afteward :mad: it doesnt hurt to try it,but make sure you make a backup,and realize that if things dont work you may be back doing a fresh install anyway. :)
 
Any one know how to put the normal icon on the right from the dock and make it do the normal function instead of the browser ect...? am running this ROM and i dont mean to be mean i do like the rom and enjoy it but i dont like the function to launch the browser.. ect... not trying to insult any one in advance..

Best bet would be to go to the thread on xda and ask chingy to make a stock rosie zip for you. The rosie is the stock sense launcher (apps, phone, customize)
 
Apparently this ROM has been updated again. I can't wait to try this out simply for the new kernel!! OP has been updated.

well shit... I hope something isn't horrible about it... I downloaded it a few hours ago... and just finished installing it!

I checked... and you're right... link i click on their page isn't working now

Over at his forums, he said the XDA thread was locked because he linked to the download page in his forums. He isn't too pleased. It wasn't locked because of any issue with the ROM

Just installed 1.1 yesterday now just finished up 1.2. Reloading my apps.
I love how you can now find the bootloader, etc... on the turn off menu!!
I hope its fast. I had the 1.76 in the 1.1 and it was a little slower quadrant wise than stock.
That's ok... I really don't understand what the quadrant purpose is but the dna etc...is cool to watch
