Root [ROM] Mobster Rom HD/Lite - 031513

Hey Mobster, finally got this rom to work, only flaw I found so far, is when I go to the WI-FI settings it says "Error" below it, and when I go to the settings of it, I press turn on, and it just stays on the "Turning Wi-Fi on..." Screen and won't load any of the ip's for WI-FI

I have the same thing. Apparently the S-ON is still there and has to be off. Back on page 13 Mobs gave me the link to go to. I"m still trying to do the trick to it. Stuck on "waiting for device to settle" right now though.
 
yeah guys you have to be S-OFF to flash this so if you having errors with wifi or 4G you can flash a new Power Kernel found in the 2ndPost under "Mods" that should fix the issues S-ON users are having.......

- rember to enable Smart Flash if your S-ON
 
I think I am just SOL on this. I have tried to get the S-ON to go off a few times and each time after the wire trick i just get stuck on waiting for device to settle.

It takes a while and some battery pulls it took me more then 1 hour to get the timing right not to mention the time to find and make an insulated paperclip
 
luckily i have some insulated wire here i could use, but i've been doing it for about 2 hours now and same thing. just get the "waiting for device to settle... Please wait..." message all the time and it will just sit there
 
He's on a stock Rom rite? I never could do it unless I was on su patch or jmz stock I recommend jmz stock deodexed

so get 4ext? installing it can be done via the app. its well worth it. i am s-on, so far ive installed all these roms without incident. this one flashed perfectly for me, took about 30 seconds to install, 2 minutes for the first boot and everything worked. i only cleared cache and delvik cache, no factory reset.

so basically, if you are like me and too lazy to do the wire trick, get 4ext and itll be as if youre s-off and youll never have to worry about anything. switched from twrp to twrp 2 to 4ext. so far even the layout and recovery itself is my favorite, and it is the best performing.

i've seen the 4ext mention alot, but question being, where do you get it? only thing i have found like it is in the market for like $3.
 
i pulled it from your recent rom. used root explorer put in system apps and changed permissions reboot. and tried to install like aregular app but no go
 
Finally got the s-off. apparently it was because HTC Syn was installed and had to remove it. Didn't see that in the instructions and its listed in a seperate area on the website
