Root [ROM][MODS] K3LSOMOD ROMS [updated 1-20-12] [ICS MINT THEME by PBOT Added]

So when I was using CM7 I could open the APN settings by using the voice search and say "open APN." However when I try that on this ROM, it just wants to search Google. How do I open the APN settings?
 
Just wanted to thank you man. Rom works great. Only had one question. Is there a way to change the stars to dots on the ICS theme lock pattern? The stars look a little homo IMO lol

Get the APN settings shortcut from market.
 
OK so I used the UOT Kitchen and made my zip file. Booted to recovery but got a syntax error when I attempted to flash? I cleared cache and davlik cache. Any ideas?
 
Sure did. I'm going to try it from my pc right now though. I was dl it on my phone then moving using astro last night because I can't dl files on my work pc.
 
Also what setting are you choosing? I have just been using the "custom" and uploading the framework file. Do I choose the Edify or Ammend scripting on the last page?

Clockwork uses edify. And ginm recovery uses amend. Actilually,I think since ginm is based off amon-ra ,it can flash edify OR amend.

The ICS Mint theme link is not dear, just needs some modifications. Read the URL and remove the obvious. Just save the 4shared part.

Nice work P-Bot! Theme is superb!
 
Really digging this theme. Like the loading indicator, zoom buttons, and lock screen.

Any way I can remove the notification power control buttons? I use the widget, not the drop down notification version and think it uses too much room. I would like it gone but I don't see any options for that anywhere. Is it possible?
 
thanks man hit the thanks button so i can build my street cred. lol. and i dont think that removing the notification power widgets is an option in froyo unless you flash a diffrent mod that will get rid of it. even then it might not be possible...ive never tried it.
 
Duuuuuude. I am so thankful for this ROM .. its by far the most stable ROM I've ever used. The phone finally doesn't crash every ten minutes. You should have a donate link somewhere cause this ones definitely a phone saver.

Oh and do you flash the p-bot theme zip ?
 
First off, I wanna say thanks cuz I love your stuff. I was using your ROM on 2.2.1. I've updated and rooted 2.2.2 and I'm gonna use it now as well.

I am looking for a little clarification though.

According to our OP the base ROM does have A2SD, but does it also have 10.2 flashplayer, Throttle B Gone, and OC kernal?

It looks like your ICS theme has this stuff but I wasn't sure if I was gonna use it or not.

Also what features does the Mint theme have? (well I guess if all the features are in the base package this question wouldn't really matter, but that's why I need to clarify).

If it does have this stuff you might want to add it to your change log.

I want to try this ROM. Is there 2.2.2 ZV6 or ZV7 stock ROM your mod?

And can you tell me how can I backup my service provider settings before flashing this ROM ?
I'm ask this because i'm not from USA, and my service provider is not MetroPCS.. ;)
 
Just a few questions and concerns.

I have 2 OM's and one had the reboot issues and one did not. I've been flashing these roms around the site and like these "stockish" ones. The current one that is activated with metro is the original non-rebooting one and I have the latest ezrider with the flashed ICS theme. I don't fully understand the throttle removal that its described as.

From what I've read, the rebooting ones were caused by the kernel of the affected phones. So I see you have the SW's and kernels mixed in for best results. Is there any sort of OC for this kernel already, or being worked on?

I do notice a FC consistently inside the settings menu. Settings/Wireless and Networks/Mobile Networks. Every time I choose "Mobile Networks" process android call something has caused an error. Not sure if its been addressed yet, but thought I'd share.

I really like the option to OC my phone and was curious if there was any advantages over the 2.2.1 stock OC kernal for the 2.2.1 roms? Or is 600 good enough?

One last thing, with the new ICS theme ( I like it!), is it able to he removed? Or would someone have to re-flash the ROM to get the stock "theme" back? Are there any wallpapers included as I don't notice any...sorry if any of this has been posted before, but I checked the last couple pages after the themes with the throttle removed were added and fixed.
